This beautiful 4 bedroom 3 ½ bath two story traditional style home
is our family vacation getaway. We thoroughly enjoy our
vacations here and have tried our best to make it comfortable and
homey for our guests to enjoy their own vacation getaways. The home
offers large living and dining rooms, each with cathedral ceilings
and gleeming hardwood floors. The large dining table seats up to 12
guests. In addition, the home has a beautifully decorated
sunroom/den and a well stocked kitchen with everything you may need
to create the perfect meal. The first floor of our home also features
a laundry area within the powder room, complete with a full capacity
washer and dryer.
Great attention to the details has gone into decorating our home with
its beachy decor and custom window treatments throughout. A unique
feature of this home is the two master bedroom suites (one on the first floor
and one on the second floor )which make it perfect for mutiple families to
share. Each master suite has a private vanity dressing area, full bath
with large shower and walk-in closets. Bedrooms 3 and 4, located on
the second floor are sizable and share a full bath. The home
comfortably sleeps 13. NON-SMOKING home. NO PETS, please.
Our home is ideally located, nestled in the woods by the south
gate entrance in Ocean Pines, walking and biking distance from newly built shops and
restaurants. Ocean Pines is a quiet family oriented community that
offers numerous amenities including five community pools, numerous
parks and playgrounds, tennis courts, watercraft launching sites a
Yacht Club and more. The Ocean Pines Golf Course is the Delmarva
Peninsula's only 18 hole championship golf course designed by the
legendary Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and one of the most challenging
courses on the East Coast. The use of these amenties is extended
to our guests for a small additional fee. Just minutes from the
Ocean Pines community are Ocean City, Maryland, historic Berlin,
Ocean Downs horse racing track, twelve golf courses (championship
and executive) and the renowned wild ponies of Assateague Island.
Also included with rental of our home is the Beach Club parking
pass. The Beach Club is an ocean front club located at 49th and 50th
Streets in Ocean City. It offers a snack bar and grill for light
faire and locker rooms for your convenience. It features a 30x54
foot family swimming pool.
This home with its perfect location, sizeable layout and great curb appeal truly
make it the perfect vacation getaway for one or two families to
share.

"We had hoped to return and here we are completing our second trip to 2 Abbott Place.  What an awesome week!...This year we visited more of the pools and they were enjoyed by the kids ages 5 to 15.  We especially love the location for the kids (and adults) to ride bikes in the neighborhood and walk/run around the lake.  We're close enough to enjoy our favorite restaurants (Hoopers and Seacrets), visit the boardwalk and take in the beach.  It's nice to be away from the craziness as well.  Thanks for sharing your home, we hope to be back next year!
