Longview is a magnificent three-acre waterfront estate one mile, by water to St. Michaels, Maryland. This Dutch Colonial home was built in 1920 and boasts 4 bedrooms, 800 feet of shoreline with a dock, one of the largest private swimming pools on the eastern shore and spectacular water views for 10 miles.

Completely renovated, Longview has been beautifully appointed with upscale original furnishings. From  flat-screen televisions to broadband wireless Internet, Longview is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate!

"We had an absolutely wondderful time here, both in the house and in the area. First, the house is great with wonderful amenities, tons of space, fully stocked kitchen with basic ingredients and wonderful pots, pans, dinnerware, etc. Loved the sunroom and the screened porch. Second, the pool is awesome! I mean awesome. Right out the door with toys, and umbrellas, and chaises. We got there at 6:30pm on Saturday night and by 6:50pm, all the kids were in the pool. Third, St. Michael's and Easton are great for restaruants and shops. Having the pecan pie sundae at 208 Talbots was alone enough to make everything worth it. We took a day trip to Baltimore (about 1:20hrs) and went to the Children's Museusm. That was great - but dont go on Mondays, the water room is closed :-(. We didn't even get a chance in the week to experience all of the features of the house and the towns so we are planning to come back next year. Finally, and most importantly, the owners are just fabulous. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and that we had a great time. They were responsive and proactive and I could tell they were people we could trust. They dealt with us the way they would want someone to deal with them -- what a perfect way to do business and what more could you ask? "

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
