Have you ever dreamed of a special place on a quiet, beautiful beach 
in Mexico?  You’ve just found it!  Los Dias En Medio …”The Days 
Between” is the realization of a 30 year dream come true.  Sadly, we 
can’t be there all the time… so you can.   Our gorgeous 2 story, 3 
bedroom, 4 bath home is built to American standards and has been 
completely remodeled with all of the modern conveniences and with a 
decided Mexican ambiance. The kitchen and baths have beautiful 
Talavera tile, the rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished.  
Each bedroom has its own bath and access to a terrace.  The master 
bedroom suite has a king size bed, the other two bedrooms have queen 
beds.  The bed and bath linens are top quality.  The kitchen is a 
cook’s delight, beautiful, large and well equipped with all the 
appliances and tools a real cook could want.  There is a laundry and 
garage. We also have high speed Internet access, satellite TV, 
VCR,DVD, stereo CD/tape and phone/answering machine.
Enjoy the large filtered pool.

There is also a separate casita that provides a bedroom/sitting room, full eat-in kitchen and bath.

We are on a huge beachfront just 1 kilometer from Telchac Puerto.  
There are a few houses scattered around that are rarely occupied.  
It’s only a short walk to the small harbor, where you can buy fresh, 
just caught fish when the fishermen come in each morning.  The 
beaches are quiet, no tourists here, just miles and miles of 
beautiful beach, warm water and skies that go on forever.  The 
sunrises are spectacular and the sunsets often look like an entrance 
to heaven!!

This is truly a paradise with the best beaches on the Gulf Coast.  
If you’re looking for night clubs, action and lots of people, go to 
Cancun, the Las Vegas of Mexico, for you won’t find that here.  What 
you will find is a true Mexican beach experience with all the 
comforts and a perfect, comfortable home base from which to journey to see all 
the wonders of the Yucatan peninsula.

The home has been recently remodeled using authentic Talavera tiles 
in kitchen and baths, tile floors throughout.
There are two large terraces, one on the beach level and one on the 
second story level.
All the rooms have beach views with large windows and/or French 
doors.
All bedroom suites have access to a terrace.  There are many large, 
mature coco palms and several new palms and other plants…the garden 
is a work in progress with tropical,flowering plants, trees and 
grasses.
The property is completely walled and private.

Fishing trips, cave diving, hunting trips and other excersions are 
available.  Catered meals are also available by professional chefs.

The house is cleaned once a week and this service is included in the 
rental price.

Activities and Attractions

Los Dias En Medio is located less than a mile from Telchac Puerto, a 
lovely Mayan fishing village of 3000 people.  We are only 50 minutes 
from the beautiful colonial city of Merida, which is also the 
capital of the state of Yucatan.  The famous ruins of Uxmal (1 ˝ 
hour drive), Chichen Itza (2 hour drive), Xcambo (5 minute drive) 
and Dzibilchaltun (35 minute drive) are near by. 

Telchac Puerto has a plaza with a lighthouse.  There is 
a small daily Mercado that sells fresh vegetables, fruit and meat.  
There are little stores for all the basics, a tortilleria, bakery,  
beer stores, liquor stores, an internet cafe, and many beach side 
seafood restaurants, offering fish fresh from the ocean cooked to 
perfection.  There are also a few Economicas, small restaurants 
operated by local women that specialize in delicious Yucatecan home 
cooking.

Just across the small harbor is a 5 star resort that offers day 
passes for activities. There is a golf course just 40 minutes from 
the house.
