Le Chalet Cache - Lakefront Holiday Cottage in Tremblant

Lakefront holiday cottage, located in a beautiful and tranquil
setting in the heart of the Laurentian Mountains. Approximately 2
hours drive from Montreal and Ottawa and within easy reach of their
international airports. In the region of Mont Tremblant (30
minutes), Chalet Cache is ideal for those wanting a peaceful private
retreat, away from the tourists but within easy access of the resort.

Set within an acre of woodland on Lac Rognon, the property sleeps 6 -
8 people with:
3 bedrooms - 2 doubles, a bunkbed room plus a sofa bed in lounge.
Towels and linens are supplied and include feather duvets (in 2
rooms) and cotton sheets. All rooms feature lake views with a
private balcony overlooking the lake off of one of the double
bedrooms.
To the outside is a large deck (27' x 18')with a screened gazebo.
There is a private dock and water front and rentals include a canoe,
pedalo and life jackets. Two bicycles are available for a small
additional charge.
The kitchen/dining room/living room are open concept. Features
include a wood burning fireplace (firewood included)in the living
room, and a very well
equipped kitchen (from fondue set to hand painted dishes)- if
induldging in creative cooking and relaxing on the deck or in front
of the fire is your holiday pastime, you won't be dissappionted.
Original artwork, photographs and fabrics decorate the house and
take
you on far away exotic journies. A growing library of books is
available with guests bringing/taking/leaving books, puzzles, games
etc.
A perfect wilderness retreat with all mod cons including:

CD/radio/tape deck
phone (sorry, local calls only but can be used with telephone cards
which offer extremely reasonable rates)

Should guests require any assistance with the property during their
stay, there is a local contact person (Rick)who speaks English

Chalet Cache is approximately a half hour drive from Mont Tremblant
Provincial Park, and just a few kilometres from the Papineau Labelle
Wildlife Reserve, where a wide variety of activities can be found
including white water rafting, canoe camping routes, bike and hiking
trails, downhill and cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing.
Spectatular float plane flights are available from nearby Lac Ouimet
at very reasonable prices and take you over breathtaking views of
the
park and surrounding area.
Swimming, fishing, boating, cross-country skiing, and snow-shoeing
can be enjoyed just outside the door.
