Log Cabin on Spruce Mountain in Prescott

This semi-secluded and charming log cabin is less than 8 miles from
downtown Prescott, is located on a ridge w/views in the tall pines
and truly off the beaten path on a dead end drive. Perfect for a
retreat or relaxing stay away from city noise and traffic. This non-
smoking home offers privacy and gorgeous views from the decks and windows.
Two bedrooms upstairs and two at ground level have one bath on each
floor. Porch swing on front covered deck overlooks forest to view
spectacular sunsets (see pictures) over the Bradshaw Mountains to
the west. Hardwood floors in LR/Kitchen, tall vaulted ceilings
upstairs. Total inside: 2,300 sf.
Four-wheel drive is strongly recommended all the time and required Nov. - Mar. Low clearance, 2
wheel drive vehicles will want to park at the bottom of the driveway, (700' below the house). This
is a rugged back woods location and though the roads are minimally maintained, no snow removal
occurs during the winter months. Great elevation at almost 7,000 ft. above sea level. Excellent
exercise/relaxation opportunites.

4 bdrms/ 2 baths, (upstairs bath has large garden/soaking tub), wood stove in living room w/firewood
provided, forced air heat, fully furnished, laundry facilities, big screen satellite TV w/HBO.
Linens, toiletries, and full kitchen w/dishwasher, microwave, mixer, blender, toaster, and
dishes/utensils provided. Small/portable gas grill available for BBQ'ing. Classic board games
available for use. The telescope is especially fun on the moonless evenings due to such clear, dark
skies. DVD/CD player, and stereo system in the living room. Three phones/answering machine,
broadband reception, (Verizon).
Large upstairs bedrooms each contain king size beds. TV w/VCR in master. Portable cooler upstairs
for those warmer summer evenings. First floor bedrooms have 2 twins in one room and a king size bed
in the other. There is an extra air mattress available w/plug in pump allowing for extra guest(s).

This is the place for you if you want quiet/solitude, are looking for a retreat, enjoy hiking,
mountain biking, and/or exploring the forest/mountain roads on an OHV/ATV or 4X4 vehicle. Call if
you're interested in bringing horses. There are portable corral panels on-site and the Groom Creek
Horse Camp is nearby with a horse/hiking trail going directly to it from the the Spruce Mt. Lookout
Tower at approx. 8600' elevation, 1600' (1.5 mis.) above the cabin. Or, just relax w/a book on the
front porch swing overlooking the expansive views.

Weekly Rates:
$1250 plus $100 cleaning fee and $250 fully refundable damage/security
deposit.
Holiday weekly rate:
$1500 with cleaning fee and deposit as above.
Weekend/Weekday Rates:
2 day minimum stay: $550 plus $100 cleaning fee and $150 fully
refundable damage/security deposit.
2 day minimum Holiday stay is $675 w/cleaning fee and deposit as above.

special rates on extended stays, (one month or longer).
