Vacation Rental Description

Desert Hills is Arizona. This area is the best place to base your vacation to Arizona.  Just outside the city limits, 
you can enjoy the desert tranquility, beautiful views and a location central to all the state offers. 

Brand new rental as of January 2008 with new beds!! This home is on a fully enclosed 1.25 acre lot in a 
neighborhood where all the neighbors are all zoned 1-5 acre minimums, so there is privacy and no subdivision 
feeling.  Whether you are relaxing outside by the fire pit or in the private Jacuzzi hot tub, by day you will enjoy 
the quiet of the country and by night the twinkle of city lights on the horizon and a sky full of stars.  If you just 
want to escape, this is about as private as it gets. There is also an indoor jetted bath tub, built in BBQ Ramada 
with a separate outdoor refrigerator, 56" television with Bose surround sound and a propane fireplace for a 
couple of extra comforts. If you have desert toys, bring them! There is plenty of room for them and lots of open 
desert nearby for quads and dirt bikes. (If not, don’t worry, they are far enough away that you can't hear 
them.) Kids are welcome and we have left some toys for them. There is a small pool table that converts to foos 
ball and air hockey. Outdoors is a teeter totter and sand table for the little ones.  The monster back yard and 
estate style private driveway allow kids of all ages a place to run and play safely. 

Though nestled in the desert, this home is still located conveniently to all that Arizona has to offer. Whether you 
want to get out and explore the Valley, or have a specific destination in mind, all of the Greater Phoenix Valley is 
a short drive away. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

We have arranged for a special access card for a 24 hr fitness facility, included with all rentals of at least 1 week.

Terry cloth bath robes for guest use (2), and extra bath and body spa products.

Superbowl exclusive - daily house keeping. 

Activities and Attractions

Down the road a mile or so are a couple excellent restaurants offering seasonal patio seating and top-notch 
authentic Sonoran Soutwest or Italian food and ambiance. Up the road a bit further are all of Cave Creek’s 
unique southwestern restaurants. Or, stay home and make dinner in the large and fully equipped eat-in 
kitchen. Better yet, grill up some salmon and steaks!! If you want to shop, Cave Creek and the Buttes also have 
tons of unique boutiques. Additionally, the Outlets at Anthem and Desert Ridge Mall are two of the best venues 
in Phoenix and both are about 15 minutes away.

Some of the best golf the Valley has to offer is within a short drive east to Cave  Creek, Carefree, Desert 
Mountain or North Scottsdale. If you are attending a football, hockey, baseball or basketball game, all of the 
professional sports facilities are a short 35 minute drive. As a matter of fact, Downtown Scottsdale, Downtown 
Phoenix and the new Glendale complex are all about the same driving distance away so you can mix it up a little 
while you are here. 

Horseback riding is all around. One option that is just around the corner is Cave Creek Trailrides. They offer 
unique desert rides with guided tours of some of Arizona’s mining history.  The 3rd largest sundial in the 
western hemisphere is up the road in Carefree and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West is in Cave Creek. Lake 
Pleasant and Bartlett Lake offer boating and fishing – yes we have water in Arizona – about 20-25 minutes 
away. You will likely also see hot air balloons in the early morning or at dusk. They are fun to watch or take a 
ride yourself. Don’t forget the rest of the State – like Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The location of this home 
cuts down travel time to the northern Arizona destinations, as well.

The worst part of your stay is bound to be leaving. We are open to reasonable special accommodations as well, 
so feel free to ask.

$1275 per week October thru April (addl time $182 per day)
$975 per week May thru September (addl time $143 per day)
$4800 per month
$400 per night with a 2 night minimum (stays less than 5 nights)
No extra cleaning fees
50% plus $300 refundable deposit due within 7 days of reservation
Final 50% due within 21 days of reservation
