Berkshires Hudson Valley Cottage in Austerlitz

This charming cottage on over 100 acres has glorious 50-mile views
over the Hudson Valley. The surrounding area is beautiful and
historic. Near the Massachusetts border, the cottage is close to the
many wonderful attractions and towns in the Berkshires. (Tanglewood
is 14 miles.) Autumn is wonderful at the cottage, with the
surrounding forests in full fall color.
The cottage has one bedroom (queen bed), and one-and-half baths.
There is also a detached bedroom/bathroom called The Summer Room,
which is a few steps from the main house across a deck. There is a
full kitchen, with microwave, and a sofa sleeper in the living room.
The cottage is located in Columbia County in upstate New York, east
of the Taconic Parkway. NYC is a little over two hours away and
Boston is less than three hours away.
Come relax and enjoy this lovely property during this wonderful time
of the year.

This is a really beautiful place, with lots of land to hike and
explore, abundant deer and wildlife, and glorious sunsets.
The cottage is ready to go -- just bring your suitcase. All linens,
cookware and tableware are provided. There is a Vermont Castings
woodstove (as well as forced air heat) and a washer and dryer. There
is a television, DVD and VCR player and a stereo.
Relax on the covered patio, barbeque, and take in one of the dazzling
sunsets.

There’s lots to see and do, with concerts, galleries, antiques,
restaurants, museums and historic sites, theatre, hiking, biking,
tennis, golf, and horseback riding nearby.
The attractions are endless, from antiquing in Hudson, to outlet
shopping in Lee to concerts at Tanglewood. Why not take in the shows
of the various theater companies in the area.
There are lots of charming small towns in the area, with unique shops
and galleries and restaurants.

June can be rented for $2500 or $800 per week.

July and August rental this summer is $2900 or $850 per week.

September is available for $2200 or $800 per week.

The first two weeks of October (Leaf Season!) is $850 per week.

We have a $50 cleaning fee for each rental.  We do require a refundable security deposit and this is a non-smoking house.
