vacation rental description
Relax and enjoy the delights of western North Carolina in this 1,100
square-foot cottage on a deep-water cove of Lake Hickory just 12 miles
from downtown Hickory. Enjoy swimming, fishing, jet-skiing, and
boating from the dock, or just watching the blue heron, geese, and
ducks from the sunroom or patios.
3-level home down slope of hill; 4 steps from upper level with
bedroom, bath and entrance/utility room to great room (kitchen and
living room w/ wood fireplace), and 2 steps down to sunroom (study
and sitting area with view of lake on 3 sides); 2 stone patios
overlooking lake and walkway to 16'x16' dock on deep water.
The spacious great room and sunroom (each 30 feet long), in addition
to the half-acre site, make this a wonderful place for a one- or
two-week vacation with the family -- or a longer-term exploration of
retirement possibilities. This quiet country location is just seven
miles from Taylorsville, and 12 miles from Hickory or Conover.
Retirees and soon to be retired -- This is a great location to check
out possible retirement homes in western and central-western North
