Arrowsmith Cabin in Indianola

Indianola is a relaxing one hour trip from downtown Seattle, 30 minutes of which is spent enjoying a
Washington State Ferry ride. Located two blocks from the best beach on Puget Sound, the house has
every comfort to make your vacation enjoyable. Wake up to the sounds of osprey and eagles, as you
lounge under a toasty down-alternative comforter. Make breakfast in the cozy kitchen and plan your
day. Pack a picnic and head to the beach for a day of exploring and enjoying the views of Mt
Rainier. In season, you can dig for clams, fish for salmon or trap crab off the dock. Bring your
bikes and go for scenic ride. There are many top notch golf courses in the area, including the brand
new White Horse, a mere five minute drive. The Point and Clearwater casinos are each about a ten-
minute drive. Explore historical sites such as Port Gamble, or the Point-no-Point lighthouse in
Hansville. Finish the day with a barbeque on the large deck, an ice cream cone from the Indianola
Country Store, and a walk on the dock to enjoy the sunset over the Olympics.

Master bedroom has queen bed, private entrance to bath and high speed internet hook up.
Second bedroom has a double/twin bunk bed. Closet has extra linens, games, beach towels, etc.
Double futon in log cabin room, wet bar and door to deck. Pellet stove for heating in the winter.
Living room has fire place, soaring wood ceilings, large windows, cable TV/DVD player.
Kitchen is fully equipped. (no dishwasher) Washer/Dryer in kitchen.

Easy access to grocery stores, restaurants and other services in nearby Kingston.
Dogs allowed with fee.
Only 30 minutes driving time from Seattle, take either the Edmonds/Kingston or Seattle/Bainbridge
runs. No big gas bill on your vacation!
No phone line installed in house, good cell coverage.

The beach is amazing! Check local tides for best days to enjoy it. Be sure to check with local
seasonality and licensing requirements for fishing or shellfish collection.

Over a dozen golf courses in the area: White Horse, Gold Mountain (home of the '08 NCAA Men's West
Regional Championships) Port Ludlow and Trophy Lake to name a few.

Clearwater Casino in Suquamish and The Point Casino in Hansville are each ten minutes away.

Lots of historic towns to explore. Port Townsend offers a haunted castle. Port Gamble is a 120 acre
National Historic Landmark, with turn of the century buildings. Hansville has the Point-no-Point
Lighthouse. Antique shops and regional artist boutiques abound.
