Elizabeth's Memories – GULF FRONT - 4 BEDROOM 4 BATHS - Sleeps 10-12


Elizabeth's Memories is a GULF FRONT beach bungalow with 60' of MAGNIFICENT BEACHFRONT.  This much beachfront for a single family home is a rare find in Panama City Beach.  This wonderful older home is located in the central part of Panama City Beach close to many restaurants and activities. The one story open floor plan makes getting around easy, as there are no stairs to navigate.


The TWO BEDROOMS AND TWO BATHS in the main house are just off the dining area. This home is equipped with a FULL KITCHEN AND DISHWASHER for those times you would rather eat at home than go out.  There is a large Florida room off the livingroom where there is Queen sleeper sofa and a small table with 4 chairs.  The large FLORIDA ROOM leads out to a huge patio where there is a table with seating for four and is just steps from the beach. The views from this home are spectacular.


There are another TWO BEDROOMS AND TWO BATHS in the adjoining building and each has their own private entrance and private bathroom. 


The GAS GRILL AND LARGE PATIO allow for great cookouts overlooking the beach. Relax and enjoy the view during the day or the breathtaking evening sunsets.


If you are looking for a wonderful private home on an expansive stretch of beautiful beach, this is the home for you and your family.  For those who want their four legged family members to accompany them, Elizabeth's will consider small pets for a non-refundable fee.

Check in time was finally allowed after 4 pm Sunday;screen door falling off hinges made entry an ordeal; sunroom with no screens in windows and no screen door made it useless to enjoy any time there; main bedroom had no screens, one window was shattered with glass pieces on inside-Management was aware but nothing was done; exterior door of a bathroom was unsecured; bath with tub has no screen on tiny window, bath drain plug didn't work so don't count on bathing your little ones here; cobwebs & filth under beds; dvd player skips making it impossible to hear conversations; neighbors to east were high school kids with nonstop noise & drinking, their mid day vomiting was not a welcome view while trying to enjoy our patio. The noise from the main road just feet away up the slope from Oleander was nonstop, with honking, yelling, revving engines making any chance of sleeping peacefully impossible until late morning, about the same time the little ones were waking up. The falling apart fencing was more than an eyesore, it's a hazard to get near. The chain link fence & chunks of broken concrete in the side yards made it impossible to use or enjoy, and the broken glass, plastic, metal pieces & trash didn't help. Doesn't anyone ever try & clean up around this place? The dog couldn't walk anywhere without having to pick the mess from her paws in this yard, what a shame. Cracked & broken flooring, chipped & peeling paint, ceiling fan light not working in bedroom off the kitchen, and the fan itself is in need of being balanced but the racket it makes helps mask the traffic noise. Calls to Management went unanswered. Would not recommend to anyone. Kitchen table has a chair with a large burn hole, lighting over the table itself would be helpful. No bathroom entrance on this property without going through a bedroom, so no privacy sleeping if you have guests!!! Seems like nobody maintains this property, the cleaning crew doesn't clean under beds or move couches to clean, can only imagine how often the area rug in front of the tv gets cleaned. Kids played hide & seek one day, that's how the filth under the beds was discovered. Absolutely gross. So our checkout was 10 am Saturday & I know we left the place cleaner than we found it, several garbage bags of trash were picked up from the yard & to make the gulf view easier to enjoy. With check out time 10 am Saturday, 5 days and 18 hours is the time we could stay, yet we paid for a week!

Owners response: A 24-hour number is provided with arrival information so that our guests have access to staff after hours, in the event of an emergency. Calls without messages cannot be tracked or returned.

Check-in is guaranteed by 4pm and is stated on our contracts. We are on Central time, perhaps that is where the confusion came in.

The owner opted not to install screens on any of the brand new windows, as the salt air deteriorates the screens very quickly and the house is air conditioned.

The glass on the window in the bedroom behind the headboard had been compromised during a storm. The glass had to be ordered and was scheduled to be repaired. We truly regret that it was not installed in time for your stay. Because it was double pane safety glass, and was still in the window, and scheduled to be repaired we did not board it up.

We make it a priority to handle maintenance requests as quickly as possible once they are reported. There is a brand new TV in the living room and the guest room, both with brand new DVD players under 2 months old.

We have no control over the neighbors, or the traffic. A call to the 24-hour cell would have produced a call to the local police so they could handle any neighborhood disturbance.

Any cleaning issues should be reported immediately so we can send a crew back out to correct. The rug in front of the TV is professionally steam cleaned several times during the year along with the furniture.

Our contracts are paid by the night not the day. Therefore, a check-in at 4pm on Sunday with a check-out by 10am on Saturday would constitute a 6-night stay. Standard check out for any kind of hospitality accommodations is usually 10am. We are often able to accommodate extended checkout times, when possible. Arrangements must be requested and arranged in advance.

We regret that we were not given the opportunity to address any of the above complaints prior to check out.
