Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to The Pinecone, our newly renovated condo at Tamarron, 17 miles north of Durango and 
10 minutes from the Purgatory/Durango Mountain Resort ski area. 

This spacious 1500 square foot condo has two levels. Downstairs is a private Queen bedroom with an 
attached bathroom, living room and full kitchen. Upstairs is a large loft with two queen beds, a 
bathroom with two vanities and a large walk-in closet. The loft closes off with sound insulated 
folding doors for privacy at night. There are also two air beds for kids or extra guests.

All furniture and bedding are brand new, and the beds have comfy memory foam mattress toppers for 
added comfort. Our unit has extra south facing windows for lots of natural light, and the private 
deck is surrounded by pine trees with views of the mountains and a small pond. 

Your stay includes use of the heated indoor/outdoor pool, two Jacuzzi's, fitness center, sauna and 
spa services in the main lodge, a short walk from our unit. Enjoy fine dining at Hamilton's Chop 
House and breakfast/lunch at the Cliffside Deli. 

There is SO much to do in Durango. Catch the Narrow Gauge Train to the historic mining town of 
Silverton at the Rockwood Station just 1/4 mile from our condo. There is a small lake right up the 
road with some horse stables, and the Alpine Slide at the DMR ski area is a blast for everyone. Don't 
miss a raft/float trip(very safe) down the Animas River, or the Water Park and Climbing Wall at the 
recreation center in town. Adults will enjoy Durango's art galleries and fabulous restaurants. We 
have everything. Just pack your toothbrush and come have fun!
