But for this first evening, a soak in the generous clawfoot tub awaits you, and then you sink into the vast master bed and enjoy the first good night’s sleep for a while.  Tomorrow, you know, will be the laziest, happiest, most relaxing you’ve had for – oh, since whenever.  There’s time for a round of golf, then a splash in the oceanside pool; before coming back to this special house of sanctuary and having to make a difficult choice – to watch a film on the huge screen with surround sound, or to put your feet up on the chaise longue in the sun room and just BE. This is the vacation you’ve dreamed of! And with all this space you don’t even have to sit with the rest of the family all the time – and anyway,the kids are off on the bikes that are kept in the garage and your spouse is eager to cook on the grill. What a life: you could get used to this dream of a home!

We love our house too! So do our children and our grandchildren! We love the space, the quiet, our huge master suite and wonderful king bed, the beach, golf on our two championship courses, Java Java (our favorite local coffee shop), Ladles (the new soup and sandwich bar) and Charleston, of course. We used to live here full time; and every time we visit we can’t believe we ever left! Our home is ideal for a family, an extended family (2 master suites), or 2 families vacationing together.

And now it’s even better, with the new Club and Property Owners’ facilities, which you can enjoy with an Amenity Card (included in our rental charge). The new Lake House is a few minutes gentle stroll away, with its outdoor pools, children’s play area, fitness center (small daily charge) and cafe; the new Tennis and Equestrian Centers are also very nearby.  The main clubhouse, golf and the beach club are a short car ride away. Enjoy eating a fabulous meal overlooking the ocean in the Palmetto dining room or an informal snack and a cocktail at the Pelican’s Nest, literally a stone’s throw from the beach.

HOUSE: totally renovated and with an enclosed sunroom (60 ft along the lagoon) and a new bedroom above the garage. All done with full time living in mind – no wonder guests say it’s got the best amenities of any house they’ve ever stayed in. It has the atmosphere of a home because we still think of it as our main home (only work makes us live in the UK!). Our greatest hope is that it will feel like home to our guests and that they will love it as much as we do.

MASTER SUITE - a gorgeous master bedroom suite with very comfortable California King bed, TV and DVD player, sofas; private bathroom with claw foot tub, separate, large European-style shower and twin sinks

UPSTAIRS MASTER SUITE - this bedroom is an ideal retreat,  with its own shower room; it also has a 46" LED TV, blu-ray DVD player and surround sound system, together with 2 leather recliners and a leather loveseat

GUEST BEDROOM - with a pretty queen bed, TV with DVD and private shower room

CHILDREN"S ROOM - white bunk beds, a day bed and a trundle bed - its bathroom is right next door.

All bedrooms have drapes and ceiling fans; all bathrooms have full sets of towels and hairdryers.

THE MAIN LIVING AREA, with cathedral ceiling, has hickory hardwood floors throughout, a large sitting area with 32" LCD TV and DVD player, dining area with large dining table and seating for 8/10 and a beautiful state-of-the-art kitchen with granite countertops and wooden breakfast bar.

THE SUNROOM,  overlooking the lagoon, runs the whole length of the house with second dining area (for 8), second sitting area with wicker sofas, rockers; and a study/desk area.

OUTSIDE is a large deck with adirondack chairs. There is also a Pawleys Island hammock. Mosquito Abatement system.

We also supply a cooler on wheels (ideal for the long boardwalks down to the beach), beach chairs, body boards for surfing, 2 adult and 2 children’s bikes (cyclists have priority on all Seabrook roads).
