Vacation Rental Description

This two story home, built in 1922, is located in West Palm Beaches’ 
historic Old Northwood, a lovely neighborhood of Mediterranean and 
bungalow style homes.  Totally renovated and updated in 2003 by 
owners Stephen Pararo and Jim Moss of Atlanta, the home showcases 
the interior design talents of Mr. Pararo, owner of Pineapple House 
Interior Design, Inc. with the inn keeping skills of Mr. Moss, 
former owner of the award-winning Gaslight Inn Bed and Breakfast.  
Together they have created a sophisticated yet relaxed vacation 
retreat that is now available for lease to discriminating 
individuals.  This private home is located 1½ blocks from the 
intercoastal waterway at Curry Park, and just minutes from Palm 
Beach with its beautiful sun-drenched beaches and world class 
shopping areas.  There are biking and walking trails, as well as 
public tennis courts and public boat launches at the park.

Vacation Rental Amenities

As you enter this professionally decorated home, you are greeted by 
a beautiful sun porch with a seating and dining area.The colors of 
the house are blue and white which evoke a feeling of the Greek 
islands.  The theme of the house is mid-century contemporary. The 
first floor has a large living room with fireplace and wide-screen 
plasma TV, formal dining room, newly renovated kitchen with granite 
counter tops, breakfast room overlooking the pool, and a screened in 
porch with seating area and table, also overlooking the pool. 
Upstairs, are three bedrooms, all with private marble baths.  The 
master has a connecting screened in sleeping porch with queen size 
bed, overlooking the courtyard and the pool. The laundry is also 
located on this floor. 
The deck leads down to the courtyard, which contains a beautiful new 
pool with lighting, connected whirlpool spa with waterfall, and 
beautifully landscaped grounds.   There are large mango trees, 
coconut palm trees, banana trees, an avocado tree, a lime tree and 
an orange tree. The carriage house is draped with bougainvillea 
vines. The front yard has a very large grapefruit tree. An outdoor 
shower with hot and cold water is adjacent to the half bath.

Activities and Attractions

In addition to the beaches on Palm Beach, just minutes away, this 
home is just one and one half blocks from the intracoastal waterway 
at Curry Park. This park has boat launch facilities, tennis courts, 
and bike trails extending along the waterway to historic Clematis 
Street.
Two bikes are available for guest use.
The pier to board the Palm Beach Princess, the local gaming cruise 
line, is just a few blocks north.
Shopping is available on nearby Worth Avenue, City Place, and 
Clematis Street.

Leasing Rates:
Off Season:  May 1st to Oct. 31st:  
Weekly: $2,900.00 (additional day rate after first week = $415.00 
per day)
Monthly: $10,000.00
In Season:  November 1st to April 30th:
Weekly:  $4,900.00 (additional day rate after first week = $700.00 
per day)
Monthly:  $14,000.00 
House Notes:
No pets.  Smoking outside and on porches only.
All televisions (6 total in the house) have cable connection and 
there is high speed internet access in the main area.
