vacation rental description
Raw Bar is a three-season beach cottage of Cape Cod design. It
has wall-to-wall Berber carpeting, pine-panelled painted interiors,
cathedral ceilings, and skylights in the living/dining areas. The
living room has a large picture window with water views, ceiling
fan, and working fireplace. It has a dinette, freshly-painted
kitchen, remodeled bath with
shower, and three bedrooms.
Outside are water views, large deck with picnic table & Adirondack
chairs facing the water, Weber grill, side tables, and an enclosed
hot/cold shower.
Children are welcome, as it is an ideal place for them. Pets &
smoking are not permitted.
Please note: rentals run Saturday to Saturday during the summer season. Note: When checking our availability calendar, it shows a week's rental as a Sat.-Fri. rental. This is a quirk of the reservation software.
cottage rental amenities
Raw Bar is beautifully furnished--beachy, but not kitchy! The beach
cottage has high-speed Internet, cable TV, DVD & VCR, and is well-stocked with both books & movies, for children and adults (for the occasional rainy afternoon). There is a washer and dryer (new in 2009). The kitchen is well-stocked with lobster pots, pans, wine glasses, platters, etc.
Its greatest amenity is its location--within walking distance to downtown, three different beach experiences, and a marina!

Downtown Chatham is one mile away. It's a pleasant 20-minute walk through a historic Chatham neighborhood, or a five-minute drive.

- A private beach directly across the street
- South Beach, which is to the east
- Outermost Harbor Marina (one block away), which offers seal tours & day trips to Monomoy Island (great for picnics, birding) and the far end of South Beach.
vacation rental rates
Raw Bar is available from the first week of June until the last
week of September each year. July and August rentals run
Saturday to Saturday, with a one-week minimum.
June weeks, except for the last: $1800 per week
Last week of June: $1900
July & August: $2200 per week
September weeks: $1900
May & October weeks may also be available. Please inquire.
