Our Mariner's Watch Villa is located on Kiawah Island's East Beach Village overlooking a freshwater
lagoon. Walk from the villa to the beach access/bike trail at the end of the steps and within
seconds you are on Kiawah's most spectactular beach. You can hear the ocean from our front door. The
Night Heron Park, East Beach Tennis Club, Town Center and The Sanctuary Hotel, are all within
walking distance. It is also centrally located to all the golf courses.
The villa has just undergone a renovation and has a beautiful brand new kitchen and bathroom with
marble tile and granite. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, comfy armchair and leather
ottoman. The living room has a flat screen TV, DVD, and radio/cd player for your enjoyment.
The bedroom is warm and inviting with a queen bed, fresh linens, comforter and blankets. The
bathroom may be accessed from the bedroom or hall The entire villa is tastefully decorated and your
comfort is our number one priority.
The screened porch is equipped with a patio table and chairs, a perfect setting to enjoy breakfast
or lunch. You may even see Allie the alligator on the far bank across the lagoon.
The kitchen is quite complete with new appliances and place settings enough for four. There is also
a washer dryer located on the screened porch. Our villa is a non smoking villa, there is no smoking
allowed in the villa or on the screened porch at any time. No grills.
Kiawah is a private gated community just 45 minutes from downtown Charleston. Security passes are
required to enter the island. More than 200 species of birds, along with whitetail deer, fox, otter
and bobcat can be seen on the island. Be sure to check out the new Atlantic room on the ocean course
and stay a while and watch the pelicans flying in formation and the panoramic ocean views.

The best thing to do at Kiawah is nothing! However, if you are
inclined, the beach is certainly the main attraction. 10 miles of
the most beautiful beach on the east coast. Kiawah has 30 miles of
bike trails to enjoy and biking is one of the most popular
activities on Kiawah. Four world championship golf courses are
available on the island. There are also many tennis courts on
Kiawah. In May 2004, the resort opened the very upscale Sanctuary
Hotel which contains many hopping, dining and spa opportunities.
The Bohicket marina offers many boating options. The new Freshfields
Village has lots of stores, coffee shops and a large grocery store
and deli.
