down three generations, Grandmas Beach Bungalow has just completed
an extensive renovation and is now available for happy vacationers
to enjoy. This charming 2 bedroom, 2 living areas, and 2 bathroom
beach house is on the barrier island of Indian Rocks Beach with
beach access only 7 houses away.
The house is surrounded by tropical landscaping including two types
of bamboo, bird of paradise, ginger, banana trees, palms, and a huge
old Banyon tree that shades much of the house.
Upon entering the house, you’ll immediately feel like you’re at the
beach due to the Key West meets the 50’s style of this relaxing yet
festive beach house. The family room spacious and open to the
kitchen -- perfect for relaxing or entertaining after spending the
day on the beach. Large windows open so you can feel the ocean
breezes throughout the house. It is decorated with ocean colors,
comfy sofas, restored 50’s furniture and original art from a popular
local Indian Rocks Beach artist.
The kitchen has everything you’d expect in a beach house plus some
added luxuries -- Bisazza Italian Glass mosaic tile on the wall,
tile floor, dishwasher, self-cleaning stove, and stainless steel
Kenmore fridge add to the restored wooden upper 50’s cabinetry.
Bedrooms are decorated with the beach in mind. Fun colors and
upscale bed linens from LL Bean and Neiman Marcus keep you
comfortable.
In the back of the house is shaded tropical courtyard. This is a
favorite place for sipping morning coffee before easing into the
day.
For sunset, sit on the front patio and watch the sky turn from day
into night.

About Indian Rocks Beach:

several restaurants, old fashion ice cream shop and candy store
within walking distance.
This is one of the few remaining beach communities which still
retains much of its original beach character and lifestyle. Indian
Rocks Beach is a favorite of most of the local Floridians as well
and national and international tourists.
There is a local trolley that goes up and down the beach so you can
explore the local beach area with ease.

a seperate living area -- perfect for two couples wanting to share a

heater, stainless steel lighting and full size Kenmore stainless fridge,

Indian Rocks Beach is a charming beach community located about 3
miles south of Clearwater Beach on a barrier island. The city is
less than three miles and is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico on the
West and the Intracoastal Waterway on the east. Beach Shelling and
watching the evening sunsets are everyday activities in Indian Rocks
Beach.
The community has maintained much of its original classic Florida
charm without the high-rise development found in other nearby beach
communities.
IRB has 2.7 miles of white sandy beachfront. It is popular for
families, couples, seniors and international vacationers due to its
wide variety of activies.
There are loads of fun restaurants and bars within walking distance
of Grandmas. Also, walk to the towns community lighted tennis
courts, playground, basketball court, library, skateboard park, and
picnic areas.
There are 2 convenience stores to purchase Groceries within walking
distance, but most people will prefer the selection of the larger
Pulbix Grocery store right over the Ulmerton Street bridge to
the "mainland".
There is also the Trolley which runs along Gulf Boulevard from
Clearwater to Pass-a-Grille Beach offering the opportunity to take
in local attractions and restaurants without getting in your car.
If you want to explore outside of Indian Rocks Beach, there is Busch
Gardens and Ybor City in Tampa. About 2 hours away you can visit
Disney World, Epcot, MGM, SeaWorld and more. Local travel companies
have daily bus trips to visit these attractions.
Indian Rocks Beach is located approximately 25 miles from
Tampa International Airport (40 minute drive).
