This is an incredible place to stay, relax and enjoy the sounds of
the ocean, watch the sunsets and feel the cool ocean breeze.
From the east bedroom, you will wake up to the sun rising over the
mountain outside your window. Afternoons are relaxing on the main
covered lanai in a comfortable overstuffed chair, listening to the
sounds of the ocean 200 feet away. When sitting on the west lanai
you can look down into a small cove that is adjacent to the house as
well as watch the tropical sunsets that are incredibly beautiful.

Snorkeling, diving, and swimming are just a short two-minute walk
from the house. Gather your snorkel, mask and fins and head down to
the secluded Manini Beach. Here you can relax among the palm trees,
enjoy the warm water and frequently see the spinner dolphins and
whales. This small beach hide-a-way is off the beaten path and is a
beautiful place to swim and snorkel.
Manini beach is on the south side of Kealakekua Bay. The bay is a
designated a marine sanctuary and a State Park and is a marine
sanctuary. The warm, crystal clear water is abundant with colorful
and unique wildlife, amazing coral reefs, and spectacular underwater
geography.
Paddle a kayak across the bay to Captain Cook's monument, where you
will experience the highest rated snorkeling destination on the Big
Island of Hawaii. This is a great place to pack a lunch and spend
the day exploring this historical landmark.
