Sundown Colony is a twenty-eight unit townhouse development located  
on a beautiful section of beach on Gasparilla Island/Boca Grande.  
For  
those looking for a self-catering beach vacation in a safe, friendly  
setting you have found the place. We are a tidy village some call  
the  
Martha's Vineyard or Block Island of the south.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Just bring your topsiders, groceries and personal items. The unit is  
fitted for your vacation. There is a fully equipped kitchen, linens,  
washer and dryer, telephone, cable TV, and cental air conditioning.

Activities and Attractions

Be as active or laidback as you like on our special island. Work on  
your tan with a good book at the beach, private sundeck or pool.  
Stroll the quiet shoreline, look for shells, surf, cast or snorkel  
as  
you participate in our world famous shelling and fishing. The  
sunsets, beachscapes, gardens, dolphin, ospreys, brown and white  
pelicans, and manatees make Boca Grande a photographer's dream.  
Nature lovers are amazed at the many viewing opportunities  
available.  
Jog, walk or bicycle on our island-long bike path, or exercise, play  
tennis, basketball or have fun on the play ground at the community  
center. Relax with a loved one or a good book in the library garden  
or at one of the pocket parks. Explore the village shops and  
restaurants. Hire a fishing guide or private tour boat to explore  
the  
vast marine environment. Explore one of the many islands nearby,  
accessible only by boat and cap the experience with a dining  
experience in a margaritaville style restaurant before you cruise  
back to your unit. Watch the sun paint the sky from your living room
