Winter Haven condo. Fully furnished. Two bedroom two bath. FANTASTIC
scenic views of pond and Lake Lulu from bedroom and living room
screened patio. Furnished with your comfort in mind. Has everything
from linens, full kitchen with all pots, pans, utensils, microwave,
toaster, dishwasher and more. Two TVs, DVD player, vaulted ceiling,
full size washer and dryer. Walking distance to several restaurants
and shopping. Five minutes to Legoland (Opening soon!), 30 minutes to Disney
parks, less than 1 & 1/2 hour to either coast. Walking distance to major restaurants and shopping. Three flea markets with great deals and fresh produce, Winter Haven Hospital, Post Office and Polk College all nearby. Next door to the Chain of Lakes Ballpark.

This unit was not very clean and had a strong smell of sulphur from the water even with the doors open. Both mattresses were in very poor shape as were the pillows. We had to buy pillows for ourselves. Kitchen towels were very thin and old. There were minimal dishes supplied so we had to supplement with paper plates. We also had to buy a new coffeemaker as the inside of the one that was there was not clean. The living room couch cushions were so worn we had to add cushions on top in order to sit comfortably. The kitchen cabinets were extremely worn.

Recommended for: adventure seekers

Owners response: I'm totally surprised by this review as we have had an excellent return and satisfaction rate. None of these comments were ever addressed to us or our manager. Sometimes, although never reported to us in our area I have heard of Florida water having a slight sulphur aroma to it. I can assure anyone that there are plenty of dishes, pots, utensils, etc in the unit as we replace inventory on a regular basis. The couch is about 24 months of age and is thick and soft, perhaps to soft for this persons taste? We stayed there ourselves a few months ago without any notice to the beds but I will have someone check it out and replace immediately if worn. The pillows were purchased on our last visit. Seems strange that with this type of review there was nothing ever communicated to us at all. We are very responsive to our guests needs and upon booking they are given our home and cell numbers, email, and mangers information and are informed if they need anything at all please call. The phone never rang...
