Experience our mountain retreat we call Deer Mesa. Whether you are a
couple looking for a romantic getaway, an outdoor enthusiast looking
for adventure, or looking for fun for the whole family, Deer Mesa
will rekindle your spirit. Nestled on 3 acres between the town of
Taos and the Taos Ski Valley, Deer Mesa overlooks the Valdez Valley
and the Sangre de Christo mountains. Two decks off the house, allows
for individual private time to read, write or paint or for gatherings
with the whole family. Sit in our hot tub overlooking the valley or
stare into the most star lit sky in the Southwest. Both the town and
ski valley are located only 15 minutes from the house.

The house has a full kitchen for cooking, and a large dining table
for 8. (2) TV’s along with (2) DVD players and over 100 movies to
select from. There is a back mudroom with card table and extra frig
for the soda's, beer and wine. Washer & Dryer. 3 bedrooms down, 1
bedroom up and additional loft. Hiking from house is amazing. Ski in
the winter. Golf, whitewater, or horseback in the summer. Truly one
of the best spots in the U.S. for star gazing. Santa Fe is only an
hour South and close proximity to Red River and Angel Fire. Whether
by car or motorcycle, drive the Enchanted Circle for inspirational
views, photos, and unique shopping experiences.

The town of Taos is a beautifully historical old town that offers art
galleries, great food, live music, and the native Taos Pueblo Indians
(inhabited since 1200 A. D. ) . There is great skiing in the Southern
Rocky Mountains at Taos Ski Valley, Red River, and Angel Fire. White
water rafting in the Rio Grande Gorge from April thru July is a must
and you can go horseback riding, mountain biking, hot air ballooning,
camping, and fishing nearly year around. If you love to play golf,
you will enjoy playing Taos Country Club - a desert styled course
open to the public. Taos is located only an hour North from Santa Fe -
a great day trip. Taos weather is spectacular with low humidity and
cool nights. The house altitude is approximately 7, 000 ft. With 3
acres surrounding the house, even man's best friend will enjoy the
time off! The home is 12 minutes from the Taos ski area and the town
of Taos and 2 minutes from the town of Arroyo Seco.

$200/night to $525/night. Higher rates are during the Christmas/New
Year's season, ski season, spring break, summertime and
holidays. Lower rates or "off-peek" season includes; Times during
the months of April, May, August, September - November. Please email
