This beautiful paradise beach cottage, on a Beach Front Property, is
located in Sunset Beach;
a unique community located North of Huntington Beach and just South
of Long Beach and Seal Beach.
Sunset Beach is a wonderful one-mile long small town, with year
around events, it is close to many Southern California attractions -
but nestled away on a beautiful uncrowded white sandy beach. Its
name gives away our secret of breath taking sunsets and views of
Catalina Island.
Over 50 years ago our family built this elegant yet comfortable
upstairs hideaway. Askew from the front beach house, it
has it's own magnificent picture window and balcony overlooking a
lush tropical garden and the Pacific Ocean.
If you decide to venture from your vaulted ceiling oasis, down the
stairs, you will find your own private walkway just steps to the
sand (27 to be exact). Upon your return from strolling, swimming,
surfing, boggie boarding, sunning, or shell collecting - enjoy the
outdoor shower with endless hot water.
Many wonderful restaurants are within walking distance (or
delivery!); shopping and sites are a short distance away. Enjoy
your home away from home; just relax and get away from it all, or
in the evenings between day trips.

Newly remodeled with Bamboo and Travertine floors, Granite kitchen
counter tops and bathroom, gas fireplace (approved by the lung
association).
Very comfortable queen sized bed and double size La-z
Boy comfort sofa bed (So comfortable many have told us they don't
want to go home!). This hideaway sleeps 4 comfortably. (We also
have a twin air mattress to fit one more if need be).
Includes a TV and VCR/ DVD with a large movie library to borrow
from Plus ~ Satellite TV Premium Package ~, DSL Internet Access &
Local
Phone Service. Organic & Luxury linens (bedding and towels), paper
products,
beach towels, games, books, and sand castle- making tools.
Fully equipped kitchen including basic cooking ingredients (mostly
organic - even popcorn and brownie mix in case you get a craving!)
the kitchen was equipped by a kitchen gadget fanatic!
Modern convinces are a dishwasher, microwave electric kettle, coffee
maker, ice maker, filtered water and more. Washer and Dryer on site
with non-toxic laundry products provided. Housecleaning before your
stay and arranged for extended
stays.
Remodeled with those with Respiratory Disabilities, allergies, MCS
in mind. This is a NON SMOKING residence that is pesticide free and
cleaned with non-toxic cleaning products. Since everyone with the
above listed ailments are at varying degrees, please communicate
with us any of your concerns or needs prior to making a reservation.

In town:
Take a romantic stroll on the beach or explore by beach combing.
Stroll the greenbelt through residential Sunset Beach. Lifeguards
are on the beach from June to September. Walking distance to
Huntington Harbor and Peter's Landing; Bicycle, Kayak and Surfboard
rentals, and a variety of Restaurants and "watering holes". It is
nice places to jog, run, and skate around town� Or just relax!
Sunset Beach is a wonderful family beach community. You are welcome
to enjoy the area in front of the house, it is a sandy area that is
private and bordered by ice plant; great for families with small
kids, or when you want to avoid the breeze or to stay close by.
Close by:
Seal Beach and Huntington Beach Piers are only 10 minutes away.
Bolsa Chica Wetlands is less than a 1 mile away. Enjoy the Long
Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, Museums. Newport Beach, miniature
golf, cinemas, many golf courses, South Coast Plaza and other
shopping centers ~ all about a 15 to 25 minute drive.
In the area:
Drive 30 minutes or so to Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, Discovery
Museum. Other Orange County and Los Angeles county attractions.
Just a freeway away from Los Angeles (Hollywood & Universal Studios,
Getty Center Museum, etc.) from all of it's attractions. We are 2
hours drive or train ride South of Santa Barbara and 1 1/2 hours North
of San Diego and the Mexican Border and the same distance North to
Magic Mountain thrill ride amusement park.

events, shopping etc. Also if you have any special requests or
needs please let us know! We have spent most of our lives traveling
and enjoy close and far away lands. We think you will find this
