Huge Owasco Lake Home for Large Groups on 2 Acres-Sleeps 22 in Owasco Lake

This waterfront home is perfect for family reunions, extended
families, or just large groups of friends! The east side location
provides plenty of
sunshine and awesome sunsets. There is a large 2 acre grassy lawn for
kids
to play and no neighbors on either side. Since the yard is very
spacious, you do have to walk
approximately 100 yards (length of football field) down the gently
sloping
property to the beach. A stone driveway to drive to the water for
people who can't walk
this distance is located on the side of the property and cuts across
the lawn down near the
waterfront.

The beach is all flat rocks(shale) and has a deck and 45 foot dock.
There are some stairs
(approx. 20) from the lawn to the beach.
The water is very clean and there are no weeds in this area. For
extremely
large groups, we also have another house a few houses down with 3
bedrooms and
sleeps 10 that you can inquire about.

Six big bedrooms and 2&1/2 bathrooms are scattered equally throughout 3
levels of living space. There is a living room on the main floor along
with a den, an eat in kitchen, and formal dining room with french
doors to a deck with a
gas grill. The finished basement has a large family room with a natural
gas fireplace that leads out onto a patio overlooking the lake. Ceiling
fans are in several of the rooms. Every room has either a fan or air
conditioner.

The two full baths have just recently been redone with beautiful
ceramic tile and new fixtures. All three have a clean and airy
nautical feel.

The large fully stocked kitchen has a dishwasher, toaster,
microwave, and coffeemakers. There is a laundry room in the finished
basement and
all linens are provided. Cable TV with 170 channels is in the living
room and
family room with a DVD player as well. Wireless internet will be
available in the summer of 2009
for those who must stay connected to the outside world!

The grassy lawn has a volleyball net, basketball hoop, tree swing,
bonfire pit and patio
with table, umbrella and lawn furniture. The deck off the dining room
also has a patio table/
seating. Portable lawn chairs can be moved to all parts of the
property, and a rowboat is available
at the beach for your use.

two twins or a
queen) the other bedroom has a double

main level bedrooms: one has a queen and twin
other has two doubles

top floor bedrooms: one has a queen
other has two doubles

There is a queen sofabed in the living room on the main level and also
three "rollaway twin
beds" you can put anywhere you'd like.

Fishing is excellent on this lake. Walleye, bass, trout, pike,
perch, and other panfish are abundant. Besides the many water
activities, visit the
new Bass Pro Shop located only a few miles away in Auburn. Take a
wine tour, hike the trails
and waterfalls at nearby Filmore Glen State Park, Taughannick Falls,
or Buttermilk
Falls, visit the Harriet Tubman Home, The Seward House, or the Women's
Rights
Museum, or see a show at the well known Merry-Go-Round Playhouse
only a few miles down the road. And don't forget to just hang around
at the beach and relax!
The beach is a nice gradual walk out into the water- great for kids
and weed free.
