An extensive remodel on the main house by Seattle architect Bruce
Stock and designer Lisa Wise was completed in August 2008 which has
brought bedrooms and baths to true luxury level. Master suite
offers soaking tub and steam room, all Pratt and Larson tile,
Marvin wood windows, Grohe fixtures, beach/water/mt views from all
bedrooms, new roof deck. A new curved roof beach cabana
provides shade in summer, an umbrella during showers, and a
great place for picnics at the beach adjacent to the firepit. This
is one of the nicest vacation homes on Puget Sound, and certainly
the best offered as a vacation rental on Whidbey Island. We
uniquely offer a walk-out sandy beach with sunsets, views of the
complete Olympic mountain range, spacious grounds with large lawn
and gardens, and a stunning and private wooded setting.

The spacious 3000 sq ft Beachfront House includes the amenities you'd
expect from a luxury vacation home or executive retreat. Hotspring
hot tub, large open-plan kitchen with bar seating, teak trestle style
dining set seating 10, large stainless steel gas barbecue, oak
flooring with antique Persian carpets, entertainment size decks, and
an atrium room. In addition to the new master bedroom, there is a
large bedroom with queen and an attached 1/2 bedroom with day bed and
trundle, and another bedroom with queen bed and twin bunk beds. All
bedrooms have beach and mountain views, and offer fine linens.
Includes multi-room stereo with CDs, 46" widescreen 1080p HDTV with
DVD/VCR and satellite service, Wii system with sports games in family
room, quality outdoor furniture, gourmet kitchen with new
appliances, double laundry, and a wide selection of games and books.

Watch cruiseships and freighters ply Admiralty Inlet as the sun sets
behind the Olympic Mountains. View sunsets from either your deck, or
walk down the concrete path to a beach of stunning natural beauty. A
concrete path winds down the hillside (35 steps) to a huge lawn with
the beach just beyond. The modern beach cabana covers a picnic table
next to a barbecue pit, right on the beach. There are many toys and
games for younger children.

The Beach Cabin is adjacent to the lawn, just set back from the
water's edge. It contains a queen bedroom with a luxurious Westin
Heavenly Bed, fine linens and a down comforter. There is another
fully stocked kitchen with new Bosch dishwasher, tile and Corian
countertops, a wood stove, a dining area, 32" widescreen TV/VCR/DVD
with satellite service, and comfortable but sophisticated furniture
and artwork. A second bedroom and 3/4 bath located in the "Eagles
Nest" Cabin provides comfortable detached sleeping quarters in
between the House and the Cabin, with its own spectacular view of
the beach, the water, and the mountains. A lighted concrete path
and phone intercom system connects the 3 structures, allowing both
privacy and togetherness at your option.

Wildlife and birdlife abound on our 1 1/2 acres of paradise. Bald
eagles and piliated woodpeckers nest nearby, foxes, owls, otter, sea
lions, seals, and whales all visited last season.
