This 1750 square foot oceanfront condominium has 3 bedrooms, 2 full
bathrooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen. A commodious porcelain-tiled balcony with two chaise lounges, a table with four chairs and extra chairs affords an unrestricted ocean view, just one floor up from the spacious newly renovated private Capri sunning deck.

Just inside the balcony is a large living room with a queen-sized pull-out sofa bed and matching settee adjacent to an additional roomy mirrored sitting area with breakfast bar. Living Room contains a 25 inch TV with DVD and VHS players.

The dinning room – with a table normally set for six – can easily accommodate eight. The gleaming, ceramic tiled open-kitchen permits beach and ocean views over the breakfast bar and through the balcony’s four window/sliding door glass panes.

The kitchen boasts nearly-new, white, modern GE appliances including a
glass topped self-cleaning range-oven, a whisper-quiet dishwasher with dual pumps to ensure that no germ-spreading water is left behind, a large programmable microwave oven, a bagel-sized toaster, automatic coffee pot and blender. There are ample cabinets and drawers containing plenty of flatware, dishware, pots, pans, and necessary culinary gadgets.

The kitchen also contains a full-sized stacked MayTag clothes washer-dryer for an ultra-convenient and efficient means of keeping up with the laundry.

A frame-less mirrored slide-door closet (with additional shelf storage) lines the brightly lit, ceramic tiled foyer to cheerily greet you as you enter the recently renovated suite. Easily maintained ceramic tile flooring extends from the foyer to the kitchen, the dining room, all three bedrooms and the hallway full-bath and linen closet.

The carpeted first bedroom is sumptuously appointed with a queen-sized bed, heavy marbleized dresser and end tables with drawers. With a wall-of-closets, this room easily accommodates any visitor’s traveling bags and clothes. The window in this room looks out directly on the ocean. When opened, the window admits refreshing salty sea air and the sound of the surf – which coaxes even insomniacs to peaceful slumber.

The second carpeted bedroom includes a bright-white, large-diameter tubular-frame double lower bed with a twin upper berth, and matching twin-sized bed, perfect for the younger set. A dresser and another wall of closets serves this bedroom – sure to afford kids the rest needed after active busy days outdoors on the beach, at the boardwalk or at one of many waterslide and other amusement parks. 

The large master bedroom suite at the end of the hallway contains a dramatic swooping headboard with integral end-tables. The new Springaire queen-sized bed guarantees a good night’s sleep, every night
– and its generous height makes getting in and out of bed easy as can be. A luxurious, wall-width make-up table nicely compliments the area providing space for even the most demanding and fastidious  mademoiselle.

The master bedroom suite includes a walk-in closet and, of course a full bath. Six window panes not only illuminate the room but provide direct beach and ocean vistas and again, fill the room with soothing sounds and smells of the surf. Room contains a 29 inch flat screeen TV with DVD and VHS players.

The Capri Condominium is located on the Beach at 110th Street and Coastal Highway. The Capri was built in the mid-1970's and underwent a complete exterior renovation in the late 1990's. The common interiors have also been completely refurbished with new colorful wall and ceiling surfacing and bright hallway lighting, so the building is more attractive now than when first built. You can walk to grocery stores, drug stores, enclosed shopping malls, theaters, indoor ice-skating, restaurants and churches.

With the pool and other indoor facilities, vacations here are virtually “weather-proof”, and the Capri is increasingly being viewed as an all-season getaway. Some see the winter-ocean as being as beautiful and appealing as the summer-ocean, and many of the best restaurants remain open year-round, but are, of course, less crowded off-season.

Ocean City’s 30-plus block-long boardwalk is a great attraction for those who love to walk along the ocean, visit its many shops, restaurants and pubs and just plain people-watch. From the younger set’s point of view, the city may as well be renamed “Fun City” with its myriad of water-slide, go cart, putt-putt and other amusement parks, and bicycle (all conceivable varieties), moped, motor scooter,jet-ski and other rental places.

For adults, the number of golf courses convenient to Ocean City has grown to rival such Golf-Meccas as Myrtle Beach. And if your tastes run towards charter boat and other types of fishing, you can do that also. Or you can visit the undeveloped natural beauty of Assateague Island, with its wild ponies, sitca deer and other flora and fauna, and is only minutes away. For Mom’s who like to shop, Ocean City is filled with specialty shoppes and there are numerous close-by conventional and outlet
shopping malls. If you like antiquing and places with a bit of history, try nearby Berlin (about a ten mile drive) with its renowned Atlantic Hotel.
