vacation rental description
Come and enjoy paradise at Okanagan Falls, an ideal vacation spot, summer or winter, just 10 minutes south of Penticton! This luxurious, waterfront, 'executive size'(1640 sq. ft.), 3 bedroom condo will ensure your holiday is comfortable and memorable. Our ground floor condo is just steps away from beautiful, warm Skaha Lake.
The living room, dining room, kitchen and family room all enjoy beautiful views of the lake and the park. We are a quiet end unit and have two patios facing the lake and park. Our home is spacious and cool in the heat of the Okanagan summer. A lovely oak kitchen with island is fully equipped. The condo has a separate dining room, laundry room with washer/dryer, large family room facing the water (doubles as a bedroom with a comfortable queen size sofa bed and
jacuzzi tub in the ensuite), and a large master bedroom with a king sized bed. A third bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. Because this is our special vacation home, it is furnished very nicely, so we like to know that it will be well taken care of.
A heated pool awaits you outside the front door. Just steps off the back two patios, the beautiful Kettle Valley Linear Park offers a gorgeous walking/cycling track along the lake to Penticton.

activities and attractions in Penticton British Columbia
From Thursday, May 17th to Monday, May 21st, 2012 immerse yourself in the unique natural diversity of the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys, situated in beautiful British Columbia...
The Meadowlark Nature Festival has once again been voted the ‘Best Annual Community Event in the South Okanagan’* and 2012 will see a special 15th Anniversary Event. The Festival has evolved in to one of Canada’s premier outdoor nature celebrations offering over 80 environmental tours and events held under the open sky, which take people from Canada’s unique desert to the alpine meadows high above the Okanagan Lake. People from across North America and as far away as Europe now come and enjoy the activities led by prominent naturalists, educators, artists, experienced guides and scientists.
Our area of the lovely Okanagan Valley has it all including 37 wineries hosting Spring and Fall Wine festivals, and 17 golf courses nearby. Summer months enjoy hot sunshine, warm water, sandy beaches, hiking, biking, ecological reserves, good restaurants, great scenery, and nearby shopping. In winter, excellent down hill and cross country skiing trails are close by. Golfing can be enjoyed mostly year around. Our whole area is a 'birder's' paradise!
Our little town of Okanagan Falls has the ambience of a small town atmosphere, and yet we have all amenities including a Marketplace grocery store, library and post office right across the street. Each weekend there is an interesting flea market within walking distance, and of course Okanagan Falls is home to 'world famous' Tickleberry's Ice Cream!

The Okanagan Spring Wine Festival has been described as "on of Canada's best small festivals" and it is no wonder that its success continues to grow. 2012: May 4 - 13
....................... Fall Wine Festival .............................
The Annual Okanagan Fall Wine Festival is an experience for all who love fabulous wine accompanied by great food and unique events. This is the only wine festival in North America that takes place during the heart of grape harvest.
