The Franklin House in Grand Haven

The Franklin House is a historic home nestled in downtown Grand Haven. Recently renovated, it is now 3 very private condos.

This choice property is located 1 block off the river and boardwalk in downtown GH. Within one block there are 11 restaurants, a bread store, coffee shops, museum, art gallery and boutique shopping. The Franklin House offers ample parking and a large, private back yard.  Two parking spots per condo rental are provided.  If additional parking is necessary please request at time of rental confirmation.

Each of The Franklin House's 3 condos is beautifully decorated and has
its own charm. The condos offer different ammenities depending on
renters' preferences and needs.

The lovely front condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms and it is on 2 levels.  The kitchen, dining area, living room and 1/2 bath are downstairs accented with 10 foot ceilings and hardwood maple floors.  The 2 bedrooms,  2 full bathrooms and laundry are upstairs.  This condo has private use of the front porch.  The porch boast rocking chairs, table and chairs and gas grill.  The large back yard is accessible to all three condos.  This condo rental is $100 more per week due to the additional baths.

The charming lower, back condo is all on one level, has 2 spacious bedrooms with large closets, 1 full bath with tub/shower and full in-unit laundry.  It has 10 foot ceilings, fireplace, hardwood maple floors.  The fully stocked kitchen has all new appliances.  This condo has a covered porch and private, sunny deck that overlooks the backyard.  Patio furniture and gas grill will allow you to maximize your time outside.

The upper, back condo's floor plan is very similar to the lower condo and has all the same ammenities.  There is an exterior staircase to access it.  Its large, private deck is 10 feet off the ground allowing total privacy and a view of the beautiful back yard.

Each condo has two bedrooms and
can
sleep 4 - 6 depending on unit, bathrooms with tubs and showers (the
#
depends on the unit), full kitchens (dishwasher, microwave, full
size
stove and fridge)washer/dryer, cable TV, air conditioning. The
large living areas are filled with comfortable
furniture and have dining areas to accomodate 4-6. Two of the units
have fireplaces.
Each unit has its own private deck or porch with a gas grill and
table/chairs.
Everything is new in these condos!

Stroll one block toward the channel to sit in the grass and view the nightly Musical Fountain.   Walk along the boardwalk to Chinook Pier and watch the fishing boats come in or get an ice cream and shop the interesting stores the
Pier boasts. In the other direction you'll find the beautiful sandy
beaches that Grand Haven is famous for.   Observe the sunset from the
lighthouse while listening to the waves lap against the channel.
Walk to tennis courts, explore nature trails, rent charter fishing
boats, take the kids to Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Water
Park, swim, dine and shop. Our place is in the center of all of it.
