This chalet style cabin is perfectly decorated with antiques and hand crafted furniture. Enjoy the
breathtaking views of Montford Cove, the sun setting over Hickory Nut Mountain, or a take short hike
through the woods. The great room welcomes you with a cathedral ceiling and a warm stone fireplace.
Bask in the natural light filtering through large windows throughout the cabin. Handmade quilts
remind you of simpler times and the whole family can gather around a large country table at dinner
time.
Eight secluded acres provide privacy and recreation. The cabin offers the perfect combination of
mountain getaway and modern conveniences.
The mountains of western North Carolina have much to offer throughout the year and the cabin is in a
great location. We enjoy our time here and want to share our cabin with people that appreciate the
unique opportunities the area has to offer. Hiking, mountain biking, antiquing, or touring the
countryside--- this is the place to enjoy your mountain moments.

activities and attractions in Lake Lure Blue Ridge Mountains
A great place to do nothing but relax and enjoy being in the mountains. But if you want something to
do, there are plenty of options. Active lifestyles will lead you to the many hiking and biking
trails in the area including Pisgah National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Wilson Creek Wilderness.
White water rafting is exciting and there are several options including the Green River and Nantahala
River within reasonable driving distance. For the golfers, there are some excellent public courses
nearby. Horseback riding is just a short distance away and you have two excellent stables that will
give you and your family a great riding experience.
Many people enjoy exploring antique shops and there are many in the area. Black Mountain is a great
place to look for those treasures of the past, Rutherfordton has several in the downtown area
including Victorian Lace, Spruce Pine is a wonderful stroll in an old railroad town, and the Old Mill
Antiques in Glen Alpine is one of our stopping points on the way to Wilson Creek Wilderness.
