The spacious two-room Suites, full amenity guest-use kitchen, laundry and large common areas inside & out, make Oakland Cottage the place for extended stays and small family or friends' groups. OR with a capacity for up to 20 overnight guests, The Whole Cottage is perfect to reserve in its entirety (minus the Inn Keepers' Apartment) for wedding groups, small retreat style meetings, family and friend gatherings.  Oakland Cottage is an historic "Arts & Crafts" style home, circa 1910. The 5,000 square ft "cottage" has been naturally broken into
private & roomy Suites, yet the integrity, spacious feel and character
of this lovely historic home has been maintained with each renovation.
The additional open common areas, guest-use kitchen & laundry, add to
the spacious, warm & convenient experience.

There are five spacious and family friendly, two room Suites, $130 to
$150 per night (Rates are based on double occupancy - add $15 ea additional guest if more than 2 guests per Suite).  Each Suite has a private full bath (Rose Suite has 2 full baths), linens & soaps, hairdryer, robes Cable TV, and coffee-maker. Some Suites include a mini-fridge & microwave and private deck. Fast & free Wireless High Speed Internet Access is available throughout the Cottage for all guests to enjoy.  Additionally, all Suites have access to community living spaces, including the full amenity kitchen, guest laundry room [with washer/dryer, iron/ironing board & other handy items], spacious & open front entry living area (with gas fireplace), covered front porch, back deck with charcoal grill and one acre yard. There is a "local only" telephone line for guest use.  Ample free parking is in the front circular drive and side parking area.

What a Location! 1.5 miles north of the entrance to the Biltmore Estate
and 2 miles south of Pack Square, the heart of downtown Asheville, Oakland Cottage is conveniently located just off Biltmore Avenue. Buy your "Biltmore Estate" tickets directly from us, either at Oakland Cottage when you arrive, via phone at our reservations office or online - discounted by about 10%.  Our location is just great for ease of access to all of Asheville & Asheville area attractions - fine & fun dining, shopping, crafts & entertainment (about a mile from the Baseball Stadium & the "Orange Peel" - music hall).  Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, UNC-A, and much much more!

With a capacity for up to 20 guests, the Whole Cottage is ideal for family, friends and group gatherings, wedding groups & family reunions and is extremely popular to reserve in it's entirety. Oakland may be reserved with
full services, including daily maid service, housekeeping & a
full buffet breakfast, or without:

* Winter Discount Season: Friday/Saturday nightly - $675, Sun-Thurs nights, $595 nightly  -  for up to 12 guests, add $15 for each additional guest

*April through December: Friday/Saturday nightly - $765, Sun-Thurs nights, $675 nightly - for up to 12 guests, add $15 ea addl guest

Many groups prefer more independence & privacy.

* Winter Discount Season: Fri/Sat nights, $525 nightly fixed & flat rate, Sun-Thurs nights, $450 nightly fixed & flat rate, $2800 weekly.

*April through December: Friday/Saturday nightly - $625, Sun-Thurs nights, $550 nightly, $3325 weekly.

2 night minimum stay requirement on weekend nights, except for some last minute bookings, based on availability.

5 night minimum requirement on some holiday weeks such as Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Children are welcome, and the Suites are wonderful for families.

reserve, just by the Suite.
