The spacious two-room Suites, reasonable pricing, added in room
amenities, full amenity guest-use kitchen, laundry and large common
areas inside & out, make Oakland Cottage the place for extended stays
and small family or friends' groups. OR with a capacity for up to 20
overnight guests, The Whole Cottage is perfect to reserve in its
entirety (minus the Inn Keepers' Apartment) for wedding groups, small
retreat style meetings, family and friend gatherings.
Oakland Cottage is an historic "Arts & Crafts" style home, circa
1910. The 5,000 square ft "cottage" has been naturally broken into
private & roomy Suites, yet the integrity, spacious feel and character
of this lovely historic home has been maintained with each renovation.
The additional open common areas, guest-use kitchen & laundry, add to
the spacious, warm & convenient experience.

There are four spacious and family friendly, two room Suites, $125 to
$145 per night, two rooms $90 & $95 each - all rooms with great value
(Rates are based on double occupancy - add $10 ea additional guest if
more than 2 guests per Suite or room). Each Suite or room has a
private full bath, lush linens & soaps, hairdryer, robes Cable TV, and
coffee-maker. Some Suites include a mini-fridge & microwave and
private deck. Wireless
High Speed Internet Access is available throughout the Cottage for all
guests to take advantage of.
Additionally, all Suites have access to community living spaces,
including the full amenity kitchen, guest laundry room [with
washer/dryer, iron/ironing board & other handy items], spacious & open
front entry living area (with gas fireplace), covered front porch,
back deck with charcoal grill and one acre yard. There is one "local
only" telephone line for guest use. Wireless High Speed internet
access is also available and all of the amenities are included in the
room rate at no additional charge.

What a Location! 1.5 miles from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate
and 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown Asheville, Oakland Cottage is
just off Biltmore Avenue. Buy your "Biltmore Estate" tickets directly
from us, either at Oakland Cottage when you arrive, via phone at our
reservations office or online - discounted by about 10%.
Our location is just great for ease of access to all of Asheville &
Asheville area attractions - fine & fun dining, shopping, crafts &
entertainment (about a mile from the Baseball Stadium & the "Orange
Peel" - music hall). And much much more!

With a capacity for up to 20 guests, the Whole Cottage is great for
group gatherings, wedding groups & family reunions; it is extremely
popular to reserve in it's entirety. Oakland may be reserved with
full services, including daily maid service, housekeeping & a
full buffet breakfast, or without:
Reserving All of Oakland Cottage with full services as noted above:
* $575 nightly for up to 10 guests, add $10 for
each additional guest, up to 20 guests maximum occupancy
* $3465 weekly for up to 10 guests, add $60 weekly for each
additional guest, up to 20 guests maximum occupancy
Many groups prefer more independence & privacy: Without Breakfast,
daily housekeeping & daily maid service:
* $495 nightly, 20 guests maximum occupancy
* $2800 weekly, 20 guests maximum occupancy
* 2 night minimum stay requirement on weekend nights, except for
some last minute bookings, based on availability.
* 5 night minimum requirement on some holiday weeks such as
Thanksgiving & Christmas
* Children are welcome, and the Suites are wonderful for families
When you don't need the Whole Cottage, for smaller groups or couples,
our spacious 2 room Suites with many amenities, are popular to
reserve, just by the Suite.

Rates above are based on double occupancy, add $10 ea addl guest if
more than two guests are staying in a Suite. Add 10.75% taxes to all
totals.
Inquire about discounted Winter rates (First Sunday after New Years
through first Thursday night in April). Often there are specials for
Monday through Wednesday nights - check on "Mid-Week" discounts.
When reserving by the Suite, nightly rates include a self-serve
breakfast, daily housekeeping & daily maid service. There is a 2
night minimum stay on weekend nights (Fri & Sat).
