Oakland Cottage Bed & Breakfast, great for family reunions in Asheville

Reserve by the Room, Suite, or reserve The Whole Cottage.  With a capacity for up to 18 overnight guests, The Whole Cottage is perfect to reserve in its entirety (minus the Inn Keepers' Apartment) for wedding groups, small retreat style meetings, family and friend gatherings.  Oakland Cottage is an historic "Arts & Crafts" style home, circa 1910. The 5,000 square ft "cottage" has been naturally broken into
private & roomy Suites, yet the integrity, spacious feel and character
of this lovely historic home has been maintained with each renovation.
The additional open common areas, porch, guest-use kitchenette & laundry, add to
the spacious, warm & convenient experience.  Complimentary wireless internet is available through-out and parking is in the front circular drive.

There are three guest rooms, 95 - $114 nightly, and two spacious and family friendly, two room Suites, $126 to $144 nightly (Rates are based on double occupancy - add $15 ea additional guest if more than 2 guests per Suite).  Each Suite or room has a private full bath, linens & soaps, hairdryer, robes Cable TV, and coffee-maker. Suites have a mini-fridge & microwave some w private deck or porch. Fast & free Wireless High Speed Internet access is available throughout the Cottage for all guests to enjoy.  Additionally, all rooms have access to community living spaces, including the kitchenette in the Butler's Pantry and guest laundry room [with washer/dryer, iron/ironing board & other handy items], spacious & open front entry living area (with gas fireplace) and covered front porch.  Ample free parking is in the front circular drive and side parking area.

What a Location! 1.5 miles north of the entrance to the Biltmore Estate
and 2 miles south of Pack Square, the heart of downtown Asheville, Oakland Cottage is conveniently located just off Biltmore Avenue. Buy your "Biltmore Estate" tickets directly from us, either at Oakland Cottage when you arrive, via phone at our reservations office or online when booking your reservation.  We can also arrange your Asheville Food Tour and Asheville Trolley Tour tickets, discounted 10% from advertised ticket prices.  Our location is just great for ease of access to all of Asheville & Asheville area attractions - fine & fun dining, shopping, crafts & entertainment (about a mile from the Tourist's Baseball Stadium & the "Orange Peel" - music hall).  Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Arboretum, UNC-A, and much much more!

With a capacity for up to 18 guests, the Whole Cottage is ideal for family, friends and group gatherings, wedding groups & family reunions and is extremely popular to reserve in it's entirety. Rates quoted here reflect "self-catering" or Vacation Rental style of reservation.  

Oakland may also be reserved with full services, including daily maid service, housekeeping & afull breakfast ea morning, and rates would be $645.15 - $759 daily for up to 12 guests, $15 each additional guest if more than 12 guests.  When reserving full service option, weekly rentals are not available, but feel free to inquire.

*April through December: Friday/Saturday nightly - $759, Sun-Thurs nights, $683.10 nightly - for up to 12 guests, add $15 ea addl guest, $5 ea addl guest 12 yrs old or younger.

Many groups prefer more independence & privacy: Without Breakfast,daily housekeeping & daily maid service (a la carte):

2 night minimum stay requirement on weekend nights, except for some last minute bookings, based on availability.

5 night minimum requirement on some holiday weeks such as Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Children are welcome, and the Suites are wonderful for families.

reserve, just by the room or Suite.

Rose Room 7 - $114 nightly, double occupancy - 2 guest maximum capacity

Rose Room 8 - $109 nightly, double occupancy, $15 ea addl guest, $5 ea guest 12 yrs old or younger, 3 guest maximum capacity

Magnolia Suite - $139 nightly, double occupancy, $15 ea addl guest, $5 ea guest 12 yrs old or younger, 4 guest maximum capacity

Dogwood Suite - $139 nightly, double occupancy, $15 ea addl guest, $5 ea guest 12 yrs old or younger, 4 guest maximum capacity

Add 10.75% taxes to all totals.

Pets OK, add $10/night/pet, or $50 /pet/stay, whichever is less (non-refundable privilege fee).  Must agree to pet agreement:

No pets on furniture, clean pet-waste out of yard, crate unattended pets indoors.  Must be willing to kennel Pets causing disturbance to other guests (i.e., constant & loud barking)  The pet fee is a privilege fee not a damage deposit.  Should your pet cause any additional damages, violate the pet agreement or be the cause excessive cleaning, additional fees will be charged in excess of the privilege fee.
