Vacation Rental Description

Perfectly positioned about 10 minutes walk from the world famous 5th 
Avenue and just 50 yards from Coco Beach and one block from Mamitas 
Beach. Coco Bay is the perfect indulgent getaway and the location 
offers the option of a quiet relaxing retreat for all the family 
with all the action just a short walk away.

The grounds have a fantastic swimming pool including a children's 
pool and two Jacuzzis. There is a grass lawn surrounded by palm 
trees and exotic plants and an outside communal bar area with 
barbeque.

The condo comes highly equipped with all mod cons, maid service, 24 
hour security, all linen, car parking, welcome pack and much more.
    

Vacation Rental Amenities

All rooms have a balcony with stunning sea views, fitted wardrobes, 
air conditioning and ceiling fans.

We have SKY TV and wireless internet access.

Coco Bay condo is a child-friendly two bedroom and two bathroom 
property which sleeps a maximum of 6. It boasts a spacious living 
room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with utility room. It 
also has a private roof terrace. 

The Master Bedroom is stunning with a balcony overlooking the sea 
and the pool and garden area.  The decor is a fusion of whites and 
creams with a Mexican handmade  bed and handmade wooden furniture.   
It has a contemporary ensuite bathroom with a superb vanity unit and 
walk in shower.

The second bedroom has handmade twin beds which can be pushed 
together to make a king size with beautiful handmade Mexican 
furniture.  It also has a balcony with pool and sea views It has an 
adjacent bathroom.

Beautiful contemporary bathrooms in Tikul marble with large walk-in 
showers and superb vanity units.

The Living area has been beautifully furnished with large comfortable
sofas and a balcony with sea views.  There is TV/Video/DVD with a 
collection of DVDs and videos if you ever fancy a night in.

There is also a wooden staircase from the Living Room that takes you 
up to the private roof terrace where there are amazing views of the 
sunset and of Cozumel.  There is a shaded area if you wish to go up 
and read a book or enjoy a glass of wine.

The Dining Area seats six and we also have a baby-chair if 
required.  
It comes well equipped with beautiful Mexican glassware and all the 
dishes and serving platters you could need. plus plastic tableware 
for the children.

The kitchen also comes fantastically well equipped with large fridge 
freezer - gas stove - microwave - coffe machine - blender - toaster -
all cooking utensils.

There is also a utility room with washing machine and area on 
private sundeck for drying in the sunshine.  We like to be as 
ecologically aware as is comfortably possible.

Occupancy is maximised by a very comfortable double sofa bed in the 
living area, a roll out bed suitable for a child, and there is also 
a baby cot available if required.

Activities and Attractions

There is an abundance of activities in the area:

For golf enthusiasts there is the exceptional Playacar Golf Course 
which is as challenging as it is beautiful. Renowned architect 
Robert Van Hagge designed the 18-hole, par 72 course.

Coco Beach - This is the beach directly outside the condo, this 
beach is famous for its long white beaches and turquoise blue 
waters. The famous Mamitas beach is only five minutes walk away. 

Playa del Carmen is a haven for watersports enthusiasts with a full 
range of options such as - sCUBA Diving, Kite Surfing, Snorkelling, 
Jetskiing, Water Skiing, Paragliding, Canoeing, Sailing, Deep Sea 
Fishing, etc..... The beach bar does an excellent Pina Colada, which 
goes down perfectly after your on-beach massage! 

The Mayan ruins at Tulum, Chichen Itza and Coba are simply stunning 
and a must do. Excursions run daily from various locations all over 
Playa del Carmen. We would highly recommend an english speaking tour 
guide. The island of Cozumel is only a short ferry trip away and the 
ferry port is only 10 mins from our condo. Cozumel is famous for 
having the world's second largest barrier reef so is fantastic for 
scuba diving and snorkelling. 

With over 500 restaurants within 1 mile, Playa del Carmen offers 
cuisine from the four corners of the globe. Nearly all are within 
walking distance of the condo or a short taxi ride away Even though 
we have our opinions of which ones are the best, we feel its better 
to let you discover the magic for yourself. 

The condo is only 20 minutes walk or a short taxi ride from the 
world famous 5th Avenue. 5th Avenue is a wonderful pedestrianised 
zone, which is filled with exquisite places to eat, boutiques, 
market stalls, latest fashions, street vendors, live music and much 
much more. 5th Avenue comes alive at noon and doesn't close till 
2am. 

There are a multitude of small shops selling food and drink close to 
the condo, although we do recommend a visit to the Wal Mart when you 
first arrive...it's just 5 minutes drive in your car or by taxi.


Playa del Carmen is renowned for its nightlife. Whether you're 
looking for live music, dancing or just a quiet drink, the 5th 
Avenue caters for all. Simply take a walk down the Avenue or along 
the beach and we guarantee you'll find something different, 
something new, everytime you look!
