Mikanil Inn in Grand Haven

This home is located in Spring Lake, Mi., just east of Grand Haven. It was originally built in 1927 and renovated in 2004. Sits in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the larger tourism areas.

All rooms are on the first floor. The house has wood floors throughout, a full size kitchen (microwave, toaster oven, stove, refrigerator, coffee pot) and a dining area that comfortably seats 8. 3 bedrooms (queen size beds) sleeps 6, 2 additional accomadated by air mattress for the front room or bedroom. 2 baths, and a washer and dryer. The home has a large fully furnished front room with Cable TV, DVD/VHS player and fireplace. In the front is a wrap-around porch for quietly resting after a day of sun and fun. The Back yard patio has picnic table and gas grill for afternoon/evening barbeques.

A short walk brings you to a private beach on Spring Lake. A short walk in the other direction takes you to walking trails, park and tennis courts. Restaurants and grocery stores and downtown Spring Lake are within 2 miles. A short 5 minute ride to Grand Haven provides all the activities you could want. Local golf courses, state parks and for the fisherman; great salmon fishing on Lake Michigan. For the larger community activities; Muskegon is just 15 minutes north and Holland 20 minutes to the south. A new Ferry Boat service provides transportation to and from Milwaukee, Wi and Muskegon, Mi.
