Vacation Rental Description

New in 2005!!   Completely  furnished 2  bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car 
garage in the gated,  resort/golf  community of  Solera.   It is less
than 30 minutes  from  Sky Harbor  airport to  the  peace and  quiet 
of Solera (southeast of Phoenix).   The  house  is  fully furnished  
with  central air conditioning, gas furnace, two  queen-size beds and a 
double  sleeper-sofa.  Appliances include a  refrigerator,  oven  with  
cooktop, dish-washer, garbage disposal,  microwave,  reverse-osmosis  
drinking water supply, coffee maker,  blender and  washer/dryer.   The
house includes two  televisions,  BBQ,  CD/DVD  player and AM/FM stereo. 
The house is wired with cable and includes high-speed Internet access.  
No computer is furnished, but you can bring your laptop! 

The  master  bedroom  includes a  large, ensuite bathroom.  The 
guest/second bedroom  is  located on the  opposite  corner  of the 
house for maximal privacy and separation  when  staying with children or 
guests.
 
The  vaulted  ceiling covering  the  kitchen,  dining  and  great 
room presents an open, spacious architecture - perfect for relaxing, 
mixing and eating with your family and guests.   Patio  furniture is 
included for  relaxing  while  enjoying  the  spectacular  desert
sunsets.  


Of course,  all  utensils,  china, glassware, etc. are included.  
Just bring your golf clubs and suntan lotion!

No smokers please!!  Also please note that this house is located
within an "active adults" community and at least one person renting
the house must be 55 or older.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Solera is built around the award-winning,  PGA-listed,  Lone Tree 
Golf course.   In addition to  the  golf  course and club-house, the 
Solera facilities include a community center  which hosts frequent 
events and gatherings  for  a  wide-range  of interests.  Solera
caters to active adults  and  includes  a  well-equipped  fitness 
center, two  pools (including  a  lap  pool),  outdoor  jacuzzi-pool,  
restaurant at golf club, tennis courts,  billiards,  bocce-ball  courts, a 
computer room (with free Internet access) and a library.  Please note that
while there is not a separate pool and hot tub at the house - the 
two Solera swimming pools and jacuzzi pool are within  easy access of the
house.   The pools can be enjoyed year-round, as they are heated
during the cooler  periods.

The house is located near several restaurants, grocery stores, a 
Fry's department   store  and  many  other  shops  offering  the  
day-to-day necessities and amenities.

Activities and Attractions

The Phoenix area enjoys mild, warm days - even in winter - that 
enable year-round outdoors  activities.   Golfing,  hiking, 
swimming, walking and bicycling opportunities are abundant.  The Solera 
Community Center offers classes and group  meetings  in  drawing  and 
painting, stained glass-making, investing, quilting,  tennis, golf, 
bocce ball, hiking, aerobics, swimming, dancing and many other
activities. 

Solera is close to the San Tan  mountains and all the parks, 
shopping, museums, theatres, restaurants and sporting events of
Chandler and the greater Phoenix area.   It is also within minutes of
the Springfield Lakes, Bear Creek, Trilogy and  Ocotillo golf 
courses.   Ashort drive takes you to Scottsdale and  downtown Phoenix.
The beautiful town of Sedona, the Grand Canyon and the Gulf of California
(Mexico)  are all possible day trips.   It is  even  possible  to go 
snow skiing in the winter, as Flagstaff is approximately 2.5 hours
away! Tempe,  Sun Devil Stadium,  America West Arena  and many  golf 
courses are all within a short drive. Watch your favorite baseball
team during Spring training, as many teams practice and play in the 
area.

Vacation Rental Rates

Jan-Apr .... $2400/month
May-Oct ... $1200/month
Nov .......... $1700/month
Dec .......... $2200/month

Rental must be for 30 days or more.
     
A cleaning fee of $100 will be assessed for each rental 
term. 

50% of rent is due to lock your reservation, and the balance is due 
30 days prior to your arrival date. A $500 security and damage 
deposit is required, which will be refunded in full if the home is 
left undamaged and the lease terms are not  violated.   Dogs may  be 
considered.  Sorry - no cats are permitted due to owner alergies.

If allowed, a deposit of $300 is required of which a non-refundable 
pet fee of $150.00 will apply for steam cleaning the carpets after 
vacating.
