Vacation Rental Description

Avisania Villa is a brand-new country house (completed in summer  
2006), situated in the small and typical Greek village of  
Vassilopoulata. It is a peaceful and tranquil village, approx. 4 km  
from the picturesque yachting port of Agia Efimia, imbedded in the  
high mountains of Pylaros, offering a panoramic view of the sea,  
Agia Efimia and the valley of Pylaros. 
 
The famous beach of Myrtos, definitely the most beautiful beach of  
Kefalonia, is only 10 minutes drive from the villa. Surrounding Agia  
Efimia there are numerous clear blue pebble coves and beaches, ideal  
for snorkelling. 
 
The location is ideal for nature lovers and hikers: 
You can walk for example the main road to Agia Efimia. You will pass  
through an old traditional village, above the valley of Pylaros and  
facing Agia Efimia and the sea. Or you can leave the main road and  
take one of the several paths going through the valley to Agia  
Efimia. You can also walk to the beautiful monastery of Themata  
(approx. 4 km) which offers spectacular views. A path from the  
monastery leads to the top of the wild mountain of Agia Dynati. 
 
In the village you will find an old traditional bakery with  
delicious farmhouse bread (only 5 minutes walk). A typical Greek  
tavern with very good Kefalonian food, as well as a mini-market are  
in the next village of Makriotika, which is in a walking distance of  
10 min. Further shopping facilities, cafés and taverns, super  
markets, car- and boat hire are in Agia Efimia (approx. 4 km).

Vacation Rental Amenities

The villa has: 
 
A private swimming pool: offering a panoramic view of the sea, Agia  
Efimia and the surrounding mountains. 
 
A sea-facing terrace on the eastern side: made of natural stone and  
furnished with comfortable wooden furniture and sun umbrella. A very  
old olive tree adds Mediterranean charm and provides shade and  
pleasant coolness even in the hottest summer months. 
 
A Pool terrace on the south-western side: offering plenty of sun  
during the whole day with 6 relaxing sun beds and sun umbrella. 
 
Living room: a spacious room with dining area, sofa bed, fireplace,  
satellite-TV, CD and DVD-player. 
 
Fully equipped kitchen: with 4 ring surface, oven, fridge, freezer,  
dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. 
 
2 bedrooms: with air-conditioning (1 bedroom with double bed and one  
with twin beds). 
 
1 bathroom: with shower/WC, hair dryer 
 
A baby-cot is in the villa available. 
All windows are equipped with mosquito screens.

July & August:    1.435,00 EUR/week

October:            840,00 EUR/week 
 
Rates are in Euro per week and per villa for up to 4 persons. 
5th & 6th person: additionally 91,00 EUR each/week  
                  (babies under 2 y are free) 
 
Rates include: surcharges, maid service, change of linen and towels  
every 4th day, air-conditioning in the bedrooms, pool towels, baby- 
cot, guide book and map of the island, welcome basket.
