Well appointed new 2 bedroom condo at The Views in the Sunset Estates area of West End This unit has a commanding view of the Caribbean and is 500 yards from the beach and main area, West End Road. Guests will really enjoy the comfortable tropical furniture and the deck to enjoy the constant trade winds of the Caribbean. Each room has a separately controlled air conditioner if ever needed as the trade winds blow throughout the condo. The average annual temperature on Roatan Island is 85 degrees F/29 degrees C so you can wear your shorts day and night. Roatan is one the top dive destinations and the snorkeling is excellent too.

The Views is an exclusive 6 unit complex all with incredible ocean views, private pool and a great location near the beach, dining and nightlife area of West End. The West End is unique like a Jimmy Buffet village, think Margaritaville, where the street is sand and there are bars and restaurants all along the main road right on the Caribbean, what other Caribbean islands were like 40 years ago, a true tropical paradise.

The condo itself is a 2 bedroom 2 bath layout. Open concept Kitchen, Dining and Living area make this a lovely location for 2 couples or a small family. Guests are able to use the guest bathroom with out having to go through the bedroom.

You can go up to the rooftop, a tiled deck with a palapa for an amzing view and perhaps a sunset drink.

There is even a Caribbean view from the pool!

One of the best spots is the large deck area that overlooks the pool and also has a view of the Caribbean sea.

You will love hanging in the suspension chair or lounging with a book in the hammock.

To find the best fares, search Kayak, put in your airport and RTB for Roatan and your dates. Look at the Show Chart Fair History tab on left under Toolbox There you will see the best days to fly, the lowest prices and search for airfares again with those dates to get the lowest airfare.

There are also direct charters from Toronto, Canada on Conquest Vacations from Milan, Italy on Alitalia Euroair and from Madrid, Spain(Starting June 2009)

GROCERIES

There are a few grocery stores on Roatan and a couple convenience stores in the West End. We can arrange to pre stock the condo for you so there will be cold drinks in the fridge when you walk in the door. You can purchase fish, shrimp and lobster from local fishermen or buy it in the stores. Fresh Fruit, vegetables, bananas, pineapples, mangos, melons, oranges, tomatoes, potatoes, etc. can be bought from the road side vendor's island style from the back of pick up trucks in West End.

TO DO

Upon booking we will provide you with our list of local places to go eat & drink and unique things to do.

The West End of Roatan Island is unique as the main road along the Caribbean is sand. You can stroll along and stop in at many different bars and restaurants along the West End and Half Moon Bay.

Try lobster or shrimp burritos or fish tacos. Cool off with a Port Royal beer. The people are friendly and this environment has a way of inviting people to be more social than any place else. English is widely spoken as the island has a British and Pirate history.

Adventure awaits you, there is an Iguana Farm that is worth the visit, take a Water Taxi to and from West Bay Beach or Swim with the Dolphins. Sail for the day or overnight to the neigboring Islands of Utila, Cayos Cochinos or Guanaja. Fly Fish the flats or do a seaplane tour. Take in a Canopy Tour, visit French Harbor, Oak Ridge, Punta Gorda or Palmetto Point. Perhaps visit the former pirate stronghold of Port Royal where pirates planned thier raids on The Spanish Main at the eastern end of Roatan Island or just relax and read a book in the hammock.
