vacation rental description
The House is nestled on two acres at the base of a mountain. It has
a large yard surrounded by State land. Your only neighbors are the
animals of the woods yet your only two miles from the town of
Phoenicia,NY. It is a five room ranch with two bedrooms and a loft,
all with double beds. There is a nice fireplace and sun porch.
Outside there is a side deck and covered back porch to enjoy the
mountain air. The house is truly a Secluded Mountain Retreat.

The Phoenicia/Woodstock area has a reputation for its Art, Music and
Festivals. We have Belleayre, Plattekill, Hunter and Windham all
nearby for Downhill Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding and
Snowtubing.
The Esopus Creek is just across the road from the house. It offers
some of the finest Trout Fishing in New York. The Esopus is also
famous for its Tubing, what a great way to enjoy the summer.
Belleayre Park and Wilson State Park offer lake swimming with
lifeguards for your families safety. You have a whole mountain for a
backyard. There are great trails to hike right out the back door.
The surounding area has many fine restuarants to suit various tastes
and pocketbooks,and a wounderful selection of craft and antique
shops.
