Cabin-style home with bedding for up to 6 guests (1King 1Queen
1Sleeper Sofa).
Just the two of you? When available & on short notice, The BreakAway
Inn & Brigman House operate as a Bed & Breakfast (30 days prior to
check-in date) - reserve one of the four absolutely delightful guest
rooms - The Magnolia, The Carolina, Carlee's Room or The Wright Room.
The Brigman House is on the National Register of Historic
Places, and what an incredible home - perfect for your special reunion
or small group gathering. The main living/dining area of the Brigman
House has been remodeled from the original log structure, set on this
spot in 1840. The rest of this lovely home was vastly added onto as a
"major renovation" back in 1890 when the "little log cabin" became a
Country Inn. Over one hundred years later, the Brigman house
received yet another full face-lift. Totally & lovingly restored in
2003, the Brigman House has all the charm of yesteryear with all the
modern conveniences of today.
BreakAway Cabin of BreakAway Inn is right next door. Built in 2004,
BreakAway Cabin is
a 2 BR 2 BA cabin-style home. Together these two homes are called
BreakAway Inn and provide lots of flexibility for travelers to Western NC.
Both of these properties have full amenity kitchens, washer/dryer,
decks, gas grill, cable TV (Brigman has cable TV in 4 of the
bedrooms as well as in the main family/TV room), WI-FI, in-house phone
with unlimited local & long distance calling (within US & Canada),
views, creek, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway & Asheville, NC & easy
access to all of Western NC.

BreakAway Inn- lots of options! Just the two of you? 30 days prior
to check-in, if the Brigman House hasn't been reserved in total,
reserve a room in this very special Historic Home. Rates for the
guest rooms include a delightful Breakfast, each room with a full &
private baths (most with spa tubs), WIFI access throughout the house,
in room cable TV, coffee-maker, gas fireplace, sumptuous sheets,
towels & luscious robes.
Individual room rates range from $135 to $160 nightly, plus tax in our
Standard Seasons.
Or, for that very special reunion or group gathering, reserve All of
the Brigman House of BreakAway Inn.
There are 5 delightful bedrooms & 4.5 baths. Each bedroom will
accommodate two to four guests, for a maximum capacity of 15 guests.
Special touches, including mantled fireplaces in every room, several
en-suite spa tubs, wide plank floors & tiling, original rock
fireplaces with delightful mantles, whimsical wall-papers, comfortable
antique furnishings, wonderful quilts, sheets & towels - all surround
you in a casual yet pampered feel.
Two spacious family rooms allow you to spread out in comfort. Several
porches - upstairs & down - are available to sit upon, relax, read,
enjoy the views, or just find a quiet moment. A modern kitchen, with
top notch appliances & all amenities, opens out into the original log
cabin living/dining room area. A gas grill is just out the back door
(although most guests use this as the front door) & a cozy lawn will
lure you out for an afternoon beverage and cookout.

Or, reserve BreakAway Cabin - a wonderful Cabin-style home
with bedding for up to 6 guests. BreakAway Cabin is a lovely 2 BR 2
BA cabin-style home, new in 2004, with many added amenities for a
"self-catering"
experience. Added amenities include WI-FI, in-house phone, Cable TV,
deck, porch, gas grill, full amenity kitchen, Washer/Dryer, all linens
& towels are supplied, views & babbling brook - right off the back deck.

Location, Location, Location!! Lovely views & a creek!, yet convenient
- downtown Asheville is an easy 12 miles away (buy your discounted
Biltmore Estate tickets directly from us if you like) - or enjoy the
quaint & enjoyable walking town of Weaverville, just minutes from The
Brigman House - go antiquing there at the fun & funky Restoration Hardware
Store, or one of the many local artist galleries (The Art Safari the
end of April & the beginning of November, each year is WONDERFUL!!),
enjoy the incredible Secret Garden Spa or have a cup of coffee &
pastry at the Well Bred Bakery & Cafe. Reems Creek Golf Course is
just a mile away from the Brigman House, as is Vance Memorial
Birthplace (a delightful mountain state park & Historic Site with
picnic spot & "living" museum). Take Ox Creek Road to the Blue Ridge
Parkway, just a 4 mile scenic drive, to access trails, hiking, motor
touring, cycling & all the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer.

Standard Seasons: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend,
October, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas & New Years Weeks $525 nightly,
$2800 weekly - add the BreakAway Cabin for 7 BR 6.5 BA, $650 nightly,
$3360 weekly.
"In-between" Seasons: January after New Years Week up until Memorial
Day Weekend, September, November & December (excepting vacation weeks
noted above) $475 nightly, $2600 weekly - add the BreakAway Cabin for
7 BR 6.5 BA, $600 nightly, $3255 weekly)
For small families wanting a cabin rental, you might also consider
BreakAway Cabin by itself - a 2 BR 2 BA Cabin-style home for up to 6
guests. Standard Season rates: $195 nightly, $980 weekly, "In-between
Seasons": $175 nightly, $875 weekly.
Add 6.75% taxes to all totals, $250 refundable security deposit if
paying by personal check & acceptance of our Rental Agreement required
(see Rental Agreement page for details).

Rates range from $135 - $160 nightly in our standard season, available
