Vacation Rental Description

Bright, clean, airy, and recently-remodeled, this 2nd floor condo  
overlooks a gorgeous canal.  The picture above was taken from the  
glass-enclosed lanai where you can view spectacular sunrises in the  
morning, moonrises in the evening, and quite often manatees provide  
some daytime entertainment.  Later in the day you can watch the sun  
go down while sitting on the balcony outside the front door or walk  
across the street to the beach to view breath-taking gulf sunsets.    
 
The same lanai canal view can be seen from the large master bedroom  
which is furnished with a king bed, large dresser w/ mirror, cable  
TV, alarm clock, and telephone.  The queen pullout sofa in the  
living room provides extra sleeping space for those occasional  
guests.  You will also find a cable TV, stereo, DVD, and  
telephone/answering machine in the living room.  The kitchen is  
equipped with most everything you need including a microwave,  
toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, eating and  
cooking utensils, and a variety of herbs and spices.  The bathroom  
has a tub/shower, and a large walk-in closet separates it from the  
bedroom.  Towels and linens are provided.  This lovely condo has  
everything you need for it to be your “home away from home”.  We  
hope you enjoy it as much as we do! 

Vacation Rental Amenities

This 14-building complex offers a multitude of amenities and  
activities. 
 
The clubhouse houses a large multi-function room, and its attached  
kitchen area makes for superb meetings/parties.  It also houses a  
library with an eclectic assortment of reading material.  Other  
amenities include a fitness room, sauna, shower/locker facilities,  
billiards, and table tennis.  The main pool outside the clubhouse  
overlooks beautiful Sarasota Bay.  A shuffleboard, barbecue grill,  
and putting green are also located in the clubhouse area. A workshop  
is available for the hobby enthusiast, as well as a card room where  
you can often find an ongoing game. 
 
In addition to the main pool, there are 3 other pools, one of which  
is conveniently located adjacent to our building (see picture  
below).  A tennis court as well as a beautiful walkway around the  
canal are also available for your enjoyment. 
 
There is a lovely beach pavilion with private shower/restroom  
facilities, and our beach chairs are stored there so you don’t have  
to carry them with you.  Tables in the pavilion are a wonderful  
place to enjoy a picnic lunch or sunset dining.  In the parking lot  
at the beach pavilion a hose is available to wash your car. 

Activities and Attractions

You can find a schedule of activities posted at the clubhouse.  Some  
of these include: play readers, bingo, bridge, holiday and other  
socials, Yacht club, and men’s and ladies’ clubs, and more.   
Something for everyone!  
 
A large Publix supermarket is a short drive or bike ride away.  Many  
restaurants are located on the key, as well as on the mainland or  
neighboring islands.  Just off the key to the south is Mote Marine  
Aquarium and St. Armand’s Circle which has wonderful shopping and  
dining.  For the water sport enthusiast, Anna Maria Island off the  
north end offers parasailing, Hobie Cats, etc.
