you to come and stay at this newly remodeled 2400 square foot home
right on the water of beautiful Long Lake in Traverse City,
Michigan. Enjoy your own private backyard with approximately 125
feet of private lake frontage and have full use of our private 120 foot dock
for your water toys. The sandy bottom beach is perfect for children, and adults too!
The water slopes ever so slightly The end of the dock (which again is 120 feet long),
the depth is only about 3 feet. Many of the homes on the lake are deceiving with regards to depth
and drop off very quickly. You may also find they lack a beach area for children to play on. No
matter where you rent, make sure to get good photos of the yard and water and ask lots of questions.
Long Lake is an all sports lake covering approximately 3000 acres, or 5 miles long
by 2 miles wide. Plenty of room to enjoy your boat, jet ski or kayaks! The property
has two new kayaks available for rent as well. Please ask about them if you
are interested.
This home is strictly a
no smoking, no pets home
so please don't even ask.

The home will sleep 8 people comfortably in beds and there are two
twin size aerobeds complete with linens for use as well.
This is our personal home used for family gatherings and summer
vacations so please know that we take great pride in it and hope
that our visitors will too. This is our second year owning it and
we decided to rent, not because we have to, but because it's ashame
to let such a wonderful home with an incredible view and so much to
offer, go unused for a great portion of the summer. From our many
years of travelling and renting homes along the way, we have picked
up a few ideas here and there and are implementing them in our home
to hopefully make your experience, one to remember. You'll arrive
to a sparkling clean house with beautiful fresh sheets on each bed.
You'll find basic supplies like a fresh new dish sponge, eco-friendly
dish soap, eco-friendly laundry essentials, paper towels and toilet
paper. In the bathrooms, you'll even find a fresh bar of soap in the
showers and soap at the sink. Truly your home away from home!
Activities and AttractionsThere is so much to do here on the lake or in the general area. Maps and brochures will be left in the home for you to review. On the lake you'll enjoy fishing, boating, jet skiing, swimming, sunbathing or just plain old relaxing. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park is always a favorite spot and don't forget to bring your camera. There's plenty of places to take a leisurely nature walk or for the adventurous side of you, why not try a hot air balloon ride? Traverse City is only minutes away where you can hit downtown and meander through all the little shops or stop by the Grand Traverse Mall for some shopping, a bite to eat or even take in a movie. If you're travelling without kids, why not spend the day wine tasting or head over to the Casino. So much to do or just relax and read a book. It's your vacation, you decide. Vacation Rental Rates

SUMMER 2008
June 21st - August 23rd................$3,900 per week
August 23rd - August 29th..............$3,200 (*shortened week)
August 29th - September 1st............$1,800 (**Labor day weekend) ***STILL AVAILABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
*The last week of August is a shortened week running from Saturday
August 23rd - Friday August 29th. Check-in time on Saturday will be
4pm with a check-out time on Friday of 11am. The rate for this
shortened week is $3,200.
**The rate for Labor Day weekend will be $1,800 for Friday check-
in at 4pm and Monday check-out of 8pm.
Kayak rental $100.00 per week, per kayak. They are both two person kayaks.
OFF SEASON 2008
Spring rentals will begin April 18th through June 20th.
Fall rentals will begin September 6th through November 8th.
Cost per night, $450.00, with a two night minimum. Security Deposit and cleaning fee to remain the
same.
SECURITY AND CLEANING DEPOSITS
In order to secure your dates, a deposit equal to half of the rental
rate is required to be submitted with a completed contract.
Remainder of balance is due 14 days prior to check-in.
Damage deposit - $1,000 (refundable) is due 14 days prior to check-
in. Damage deposit will be mailed back within 7 days.
Cleaning Deposit - $200 (non-refundable) is due 14 days prior to
check-in.
Weekly rental runs Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise specified.
Check-in is 4pm and check out is 11am.
All payments to be made by Personal, Business or Cashiers Check.
Money Orders and Credit Cards not accepted.
