vacation rental description
100 miles from NYC, Birch Hill is a large 4 bedroom colonial located on a hillside overlooking Highland Lake on 2 acres. The house is named after two lovely birch trees in the front yard.
The house features an especially large living room with a blue stone fireplace and a separate family room. In addition to a separate dining room, it has large eat-in kitchen and a double car garage.
There is a large grassy front yard, perennial flower gardens and a front porch facing west for lovely sunsets. In back, there is a beautiful bluestone wall and a charming water feature with fountain. The tennis court and a stream-fed lake are just a 5 minute walk away. A rustic farm table is available for outdoor eating.
This house offers a very relaxed environment. It is very clean and well maintained. The hammock strung between 2 shady trees is optional but highly recommended.
