  • Cottage on the Lake sleeps 6-8 with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full eat-in kitchen, living room, fully enclosed side room.

    Beautiful front deck to enjoy the Lake and a private dock out front.  Only feet from Long Lake and the Chain of Lakes, including a total of 7 Lakes.
  • Boat rentals are available from Coldwater Lake Marina.
  • In the back is a private swimming pond with two (2) water slides and four (4) Beach areas. 
  • Summer is not the only time to enjoy Lake Life.  During the Winter there is snowmobiling, ice fishing and cross country skiing.

  • Everything is included - Just bring your toothbrush!
  • Cottage is Fully Furnished with:  Stove, (2) refrigerators, microwave, coffee, maker, cups,plates,silverware,blender,crock pot, toaster, (2) TV's, DVD Player, VCR, linens, blankets, towels, wash cloths.
  • Outside is a large picnic table with umbrella that seats 6-8 on front deck and chairs on back deck with a gas grill.

activities and attractions in Coldwater Michigan

Swimming pond with (2) water slides, plus swings at one end of the beach. 
The area is known for its  family owned Drive-in Theater.... Binder Park Zoo in Battlecreek.  Shopping close by includes Meijer,WalMart,Elder Beerman's,Menards, Kohl's and The Outlet Mall. 

Beautiful lakes in this area attract people for fishing,boating and swimming.  Excellent bass in the Coldwater/Marble Chain and also loads of panfish including bluegill,redear sunfish, crappies and perch.  In game fish, we have large mouth bass, small mouth bass and a lot of Northern Pike.

A new casino, Firekeepers, opened in 2009 in Battlecreek, MI.  Only 30 min. from Coldwater.

  • Opened year round for Summer Fun, Fall Fishing and Winter on the Lake.
  • Weekly -$800(May - September) $300 (October - April)
  •  Monthly (October - April) $650 plus utilities.  
  • Check in at 2pm Saturday - Check out  11am following Saturday (Negotiable).
  • Weekends - $300(May-September) $200 (October -April)
    $200 Security Deposit due upon Reservation/ Extra $50 with dog - Returned within 14 days of check out. 

    Month $2800 - 50% Due upon Reservation (May - September)
    Full Refund with a 30 day cancellation.

Great hospitality, fun community

excellent family vacation. Our family had a terrific time enjoying the lake life in a fun community. We even spent a night at the Capri Drive-in. We rented a pontoon from Coldwater Lake Marina. The cottage has ample space for docking your boat. The kids enjoyed the swimming pond. The gem of the entire stay was the great hospitality offered by the owners. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing time as well as an active family. The activities are many and the lifestyle is contagious. Thanks Linda & Larry!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Better than a timeshare- I will rent every year

I rented here to do some hunting, ice fishing and get some local flair. As a member of a moose lodge where I live in Florida I was pleasantly suprised how close the local chapter was in Indiana, and just how many of the folks from the lake community ventured there for the Thursday night wings. I will be definently renting here in the summer to escape the heat of Florida, and again in the winter, the snow was a welcome change from Florida cold and rain. The owners live next door and were friendly if I needed help with anything. I had some family fly into the Kalamazoo airport, just a short drive away, went to a local casino- Firekeepers I thik it was called and we even did a weekend trip to Chicago catching the Amtrak in Waterloo, IN. The location was perfect, the cottage was more than I hoped for and I will be back. Thank You
