South Seas is a 3000 square foot luxury beach home with partial  
views of the ocean from the 3rd floor and just steps from the sugar  
white beaches and gorgeous emerald waters of Destin, Florida. We are  
located within the gated resort community of Emerald Shores, a  
tropical, family-oriented, beach ownership community of upscale  
homes, situated 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. You will enjoy  
the two large heated community pools, the close proximity to the  
beach, access to the beach pavilion, onsite tennis, and the security  
of gated entrances.  
 
Soft sandy shores and beautiful emerald water are just a leisurely  
stroll from South Seas. The privately owned beach pavilion is for  
Emerald Shores owners and rental guests only (entry code), and is  
accommodated by private bathrooms (entry code), outdoor showers, and  
beach service (chairs and umbrella). Beach tram operates seasonally  
within Emerald Shores. 
 
We are close to restaurants, water sports, and centrally located  
between major golf courses and shopping. We are less than 2 miles  
from two of the largest shopping complexes in Florida. The Silver  
Sands Outlet Mall is the largest designer outlet in the nation and  
the newly opened Destin Commons is a must see. Destin Commons is a  
unique, open-air village, featuring upscale shopping, casual and  
fine dining, and a 14-screen, stadium-seating movie theater located  
1.5 miles west. From South Seas, you can safely bike with the kids  
through the neighborhood and along the paved bike paths for awesome  
beach views, this being our favorite activity. Ask about beach bike  
delivery and pick-up to South Seas!  
 
From South Seas, you can walk to various beach front restaurants  
including Captain Dave's On The Gulf, Kenny D's Oyster Palace, The  
Crab Trap, or Pompano Joe's Seafood. These restaurants are so close  
and convenient to our home it allows you to effortlessly sample some  
of the local seafood flavors or to just kick back and enjoy the  
relaxing beach views while sipping on a frothy cold tropical  
libation. 
 
'SOUTH SEAS' [4 bedrooms / 3.5 baths + Game Room/Bar; Sleeps: 15]

This new home (completed in 2004) is a South Pacific themed three story  
luxury vacation home located about 125 yards from the beach  
(2-3 minute walk) and is only two houses away from the main neighborhood  
pool. The home has a spacious 3000 square feet with which to spoil yourself  
and overflows with luxurious upgrades including granite counter tops,  
stainless steel appliances, 12 ft ceilings, tile & wood floors, accent  
lighting, wood blinds, two Jacuzzi tubs, two surround sound systems, two  
refrigerators on main floor, a game room with granite wet bar, mini- 
refrigerator and microwave on the third floor.  
 
The home features three luxurious Master Suites, all with king beds and  
private baths, and an expansive 180 degree view of the area from the 3rd  
floor balcony including partial ocean views. The 4th bedroom is a bunk bed  
extravaganza (twins/fulls sleeps 6 kids). This is a great set-up for three  
families with the 3rd floor game room providing a private TV and play area  
for the kids or it can be used as a 5th bedroom.  
 
TV's are located in every room. A total of 6 TV's, 6 DVD/MP3/CD’s, 6  
VCR's and 2 Surround Sound Systems with wall mounted speakers are in  
the home. This includes two 32" TV’s with surround sound in the  
downstairs living room and in the 3rd floor game room. Ceiling fans  
are in every area (six total). The home has wireless high-speed  
internet access (wireless 802.11g or b). All of the amenities of  
being in your own home.  
 
Large balconies, porches, and patios give you ample room to lounge  
around in a tropical paradise. French doors open up to soak in all  
the tropical Gulf breezes. The home is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac  
and is a very short walk to the beach, the large heated community  
pools, onsite tennis or restaurants. Why settle for an entire week  
of that cramped condo feeling when you could be stretching out and  
enjoying all of the pleasures and domestic comforts of being in your  
own home while on vacation at the beach! An array of amenities is at  
your doorstep.

open-air village, featuring upscale shopping, casual and fine  
dining, and a 14-screen, stadium-seating movie theater. The Village  
of Baytowne Wharf (VBW) in Sandestin is a great place to go for a  
variety of shops, restaurants, and night clubs (3 miles East) and is  
now open to the public. Destin Gulfarium on Okaloosa Island, Wyland  
Gallery at Harborwalk or at the Destin Bridge, Grayton Beach,  
Seagrove, Seaside, Watercolors, Rosemary Beach, Santa Rosa Beach,  
Fort Walton Beach, & Panama City. Some of the best restaurants,  
night clubs & beach bars in the State of Florida. Several Gulf-Front  
Seafood Restaurants are within walking distance of our home.
