It is SO time to get out of town into the cold and crisp mountain air!  Stop at Gold Fork Hot Springs on the way up and soak your cares away!  You'll love our cozy, shabby chic A-Frame Cabin! Open living area with sunny window seat, wood stove, entertainment center, 2 sofa sleepers, chair, drum!, dining table seats 6-8 & breakfast counter seats 4.  Sleeps 8-10: 2 upstairs bedrooms with queen size beds and down comforters; loft w/ladder and double bed (the kids LOVE this "tree house" area!); plus living room sofas, one double and one queen hide-a-bed.  Beautiful spa-like bathroom on main level and 2nd bath upstairs.  Wood-burning stove w/wood available. We are only 3 blocks from the west side of scenic Payette Lake (lake access for your kayak or canoe) just off of Warren Wagon Road & 1.2 miles from the Whitetail/Lardo's turnoff. And YES!.. This is a non-smoking cabin.

Great for a retreat with the girls or a getaway for the boys! Or a magical & romantic escape just for the two of you!  AND we are pet friendly for your well mannered four legged friends!

Weekend and Summer rates:  $155/night, 2 night minimum

Holiday/Winter Carnival rates:  $175/night, 3 night minimum (5 night minimum 4th July week and Christmas)

Weekly rates: 7th night is free (if no other special)

Monthly rates: Please inquire!

Cleaning fee: $75 1-2 beds; $100 3-4 beds; $125 5 beds or addition people/tents           Well Mannered Dog Policy:  $25/night                                                               Payment options:  Credit Card or Money Order or Cash!

awesome family weekend

We were very impressed with the cabin. It was very spacious yet cozy. It easily slept 6 adults and 3 children. The decor and floor plan was fun for all. We are planning on renting again this coming summer. The location was perfect to experience the Winter Carnival. The price was an absolute bargain compared to near by homes. We even watched deer stand on the their rear legs and eat berries from a tree. Couldn't ask for any more for what we paid. Thanks a bunch Sherry.

Our stay

we are so happy to have found the loft for our family holiday. Although there was a record LOW snowfall during our stay, the proximity of the cabin to downtown McCall and other outdoorsy activities was great for non-snow fun. Brundage did finally open so we got in a day of skiing. Seriously, 15 -20 minutes and you are there ( and that is with two small kids!). The cabin itself lends a cozy Americana feeling. Everything you need to cook and be comfortable is provided. As other reviewers have noted, the BBQ didn't function too well, so we had to finish cooking the steaks inside. Do not forget to bring your own water to cook and drink. The sulfite is very strong.

We hope to turn this into a family tradition! great place.

Recommended for: families with young children
