Vacation Rental Description

This custom vacation home was designed and built in 2002 in the back  
shore area of Peaks Island with 150 feet waterfront of Great Trout  
Pond and 100 yards from the seashore.  You can hear the ocean and  
smell the salt air from our beautiful cedar shingle home.  There is  
a large 16’x30’ deck that overlooks the pond and a smaller deck that  
looks toward the ocean.  The house is 2400square feet with four  
bedrooms and two large bathrooms each with a jacuzzi tub/shower.   
There are two large indoor living areas with cathedral ceilings.  It  
has many gourmet kitchen items and a large outdoor grill.  The  
kitchen counters are a lovely green marble and the floors are maple  
hardwood and terra tiles through out.  The rooms are spacious and  
airy.  It is located on two and half acres so there is plenty of  
room for all to have a great time.

Loft – four singles (large room 16x26) 
Middle Floor -  
    One bedroom with a double and day bed 
    One bedroom with queen  
Lower level -  
    One bedroom with three singles 
    One bedroom with a king and day bed.(large room 16x26) 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Private 2.5 acres of wooded land surround this beautiful vacation  
home. Pondsea Place is perfectly located between the ocean and Great  
Trout Pond. The home is spacious and has a open and airy feeling  
with beautiful hardwood floors, mahogany cabinets with marble  
counter tops. Pondsea Place has been the sight for many weddings and  
reunions since it was built in 2002. Wireless internet! Two jacuzzi  
shower combos, one in each of the large bathrooms. Great views with  
peace and quiet!!!TV/VCR/DVD player, games, library, and deck and  
lawn furniture. Large outdoor grill with griddle and grill. Outdoor  
dining for up to 14 on the deck overlooking the pond and inside  
dining for up to fourteen at the mahogany table with lovely mahogany  
shield-style chairs.  Elegant, yet comfy, the best combo. Full size  
washer & dryer, dishwasher, double door refrigerator with ice water  
and ice denspense from door, gas cook stove, large Koehler kitchen  
sink,Vermont Castings propane stove for chilly mornings and evening  
ambience, and year-round heat of forced-hot-water oil burner stove  
for the colder days in Fall, Winter, and Springtime. This vacation  
home is good for any season. What a dream!!!

Activities and Attractions

Peaks Island is the perfect place to be active or just relax. Bikes  
and kayaks can be rented on the island. IGA grocery store near the  
ferry dock.  Ferry ride from Portland, ME is 20 minutes long. Car  
ferry runs almost every hour in the warm season. The most popular  
island activity is to walk on the perimeter road around the island.   
The walk is about five miles and takes in both the back shore  
(toward the open Atlantic Ocean) and the front (toward beautiful  
Portland). Retail and outlet shopping are just half hour away for  
those who must! Horseback riding available for the horse lovers! 
Come and enjoy this beautiful island get-away.  You wont want to  
leave!!!

$3000/week from Sat 2pm to Sat 10am in the Regular Season 
Winter rates negotiable
