Le Malard is a cedar log, 2 storey cottage, built in 2003. Extremely warm, cozy, private and located on 22 acres of forest populated by wild birds, deer, hare and beavers. Since the present owners have acquired this facility, they have invested into several areas which you will greatly appreciate: new mattresses for the Double and Twin beds, new kitchenware, new dinning ware, new cutlery, new dinning room, etc. It is the ideal retreat if you like being close to all the activities and attractions the region has to offer but would rather stay away from the noise and traffic at the start of your day or once it is over. On location, you feel totally at peace, rested and with the all the comfort of a city dwelling.

It has been conceived to be a friendly environment for adults and kids alike. The owners spare no effort to maintain the facility clean and well kept. The maintenance personnel regularly clean the SPA, cut the grass, maintain the parking area, etc. A professional cleaning staff oversees the cleanliness prior to your arrival and after each stay. You may pay less elsewhere but you might be disappointed with the quality of the amenities, required to supply your own linen, required to clean before and / or after your stay, etc. We suggest our clients never to compromise in this area. We would only offer you what we would consider by our own standards.

We are proud of the security systems we have put in place with regards to lighting in the parking area, stairs and front porch. When you arrive, you will find that outside lights turn on as you advance to the front door allowing you to safely access the Cottage. Once at the door, no need to check-in or picking-up keys as you are given a keyless entry code prior to your arrival. No more time table arrivals, you arrive at the time you want. Codes expire wirelessly upon your departure insuring you no unwanted guest can access the premises once you are gone.

After a full day, you have all the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, electric heating and wood fireplace. The main attraction is the private, covered outdoor SPA your Chalet is equipped with. In it you can relax and enjoy the surrounding woodland in absolute tranquility. Board games, card games, books and movies are also provided for you pleasure and entertainment.

In the winter, it is conveniently located only 15 minutes away from Mont-Tremblant but more affordable skiing is also available at Mont Blanc which is a leap away (5 minutes). Enjoy skiing, dog sledding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowboarding.

In the summer, you will find many award winning Golf courses in the area. The Chalet is within a 15 kilometer radius of greens including many that have hosted the PGA, LPGA and Skins Game. You can also practice mountain biking, fishing, tennis, swimming, horseback riding and speedway racing.
