Vacation Rental Description

Thank you for your interest in The Met. We are located in the nicest
area of South Beach known as South of Fifth, on a quiet residential
street with plenty of parking, only three blocks from the ocean and
within easy walking distance to the best restaurants and night life.
Our address is 226 Jefferson Ave, between 2nd and 3rd St.

We just completed full exterior landscaping, new baseboards, elegant
bedroom entrance doors and  next week we are putting in 37 inch flat
plasma TVs in all of our units (10/07).  Just redone, inside and out,
the apart-hotel has eight one-bedroom and one two-bedroom apartments
facing a courtyard magnificently landscaped in Jamaican Plum trees,
Asian bamboo, ambient lighting and music, water ponds and teak day beds.


The one-bedroom apartment has one queen bed in the bedroom and two
daybeds in the living room and the two-bedroom has one queen bed per
room and two daybeds in the living room. In all apartments each
bathroom is outside the bedroom area. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Each furnished unit has a sophisticated yet comfortable ambiance. 
Features include: Central AC,Linens Provided, queen bed and closet,
single day bed sofas in living room for sleeping, dark wood oak
floors, a fully equipped kitchen with bar eating area, housekeeping
(during season), washer/dryer,DirecTV HD, HD Dvd Player, wireless high
speed Internet, towels, sheets and security alarm system. Music
Library (The apart-hotel has ambient music playing in the courtyard),
cooking Utensils Provided, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave.  All
included in the rate, no extra fees.

Activities and Attractions

The 2nd Street Park  and beach is a casual five minute walk from the
property. The Miami Beach Marina is a 3 minute walk as well as Big
Pink Restaurant, Joe Stone Crabs and a lot of night clubs such as
Nikki Beach.
