Vacation Rental Description

This Victorian Vacation Cabin is in a great walking location: 3 blocks from downtown Manitou Springs 
with its many quaint shops and restaurants and within 2 blocks of major attractions. Yet it is 
tucked into a mountainside with a great feeling of seclusion and privacy. In the evenings the only 
sound you may hear is Ruxton Creek rushing down the mountainside. If you want convenience with a 
quiet place to sleep, look no further! The Cabin is just four miles from downtown Colorado Springs!

This nationally recognized property features the best of amenities including an 86 gallon 
jacuzzi,air conditioning, a remote control gas fireplace just to name a few. There is private off-
street parking in front as well as behind the Cabin. The Pike National Forest is directly behind the 
property beyond your private parking space. Plus the cabin is just footsteps from incredible hiking 
trails. Walk to the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, the Iron Springs Chateau, Miramont Castle or numerous 
other sttractions. Yet location is just one of the reasons guests have returned for many years.  

Fully restored, the cottage retains its original beadboard walls and ceilings, but the best of the 
past and the present has been combined to make At the Springs cabin an ideal choice for one or two 
guests and can on occasion accommodate a third person. The property has been appreciated for its 
tasteful décor, comfort, and amenities by everyone from Corporate Travelers to Honeymooners!

Vacation Rental Amenities

Remote Control Gas Fireplace-can be operated from the Serta "Perfect Sleeper" Queen bed.  No cold 
toes here!

Air Conditioning-Although most guests love to open the camp/cottage style windows and enjoy the 
cool, clean mountain air!

Color Cable TV-You won’t miss you favorite show, but don’t waste time in front of the TV. There’s 
just so much to see and do just outside the door. 

86 Gallon Jacuzzi “Tub for Two”-This is the Big Dipper of indoor bathtubs. Oh so nice to soak in and 
unwind. 

Oversized Custom Tiled Shower- Washing your hair in a Jacuzzi just doesn’t work. 

Antiques- A Victorian dresser, table and chairs, end tables and original pictures and curios of 
Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak will make you feel you are in another time.

Comfy Reading Chair, Footstool and Window Coverings- You’ll notice the custom fabric with tiny deer 
are a subtle touch! There is also a settee that is a hide a bed in the living room. ( If your CC 
student or USAFA cadet wants to come stay for a night. ) 

Linens-Sheets and towels are provided. Fresh towels and sheets are provided bi-weekly during season. 
You won't have to spend your vacation time washing and drying the laundry. 

The Other Stuff: Iron and Ironing Board, Kitchen with Gas Stove, Microwave, Small Refrigerator, 
Toaster, Coffee Maker, Pots, Pans, Dishes, Utensils, Salt, Pepper and a few Popcorn Packs, Tea Bags 
and Hot Chocolate Packs, Ice Chest-small for an outing, Blow Dryer, Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, 
Razors, Scissors, Emergency Sewing Repair Kit, Toilet Paper, lots of Bathroom Counter Space, 
Bathrobes, Magazines, Attraction and Dining Information. There is also a Patio, Picnic Table and a 
Gas Grill upon request. 

Activities and Attractions

The following are all within easy walking distance(1 block to ½ mile of the Cabin): 

The Pikes Peak Cog Railway, 6 Mineral Springs, Iron Springs Chateau Melodrama Theatre, Miramont 
Castle, numerous hiking trials including the Barr and Entemann Trails, a dozen restaurants including 
Mexican, Vegetarian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Eastern European/Polish/Czech, Southwestern, 
American and Colorado Cuisines. Numerous Art Galleries and Shops including Scooter Rentals, Two City 
Parks and even an Antique Arcade.
  
And there are over 25 Attractions or Event Centers within 5-15 minutes drive from At the Springs 
Cabin including: 

Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum, Swimming 
Center, Seven Falls, Horseback Riding, Historic Rock Ledge Ranch, Flying W Ranch, Rock Climbing, 
Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, 
American Numismatic Museum, Ghost Town Museum, Figure Skating Museum, Santa’s Village, Dinosaur 
Resource Center, Cheyenne Canyon, Tennis Courts,  a Wine Tasting Center, Colorado College, Pikes 
Peak Center-offering everything from concerts to stage plays, Norris Penrose Events Center-home of 
the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo and many horse shows and World Arena-home of numerous concerts and 
sporting events.

At the Springs is under an hour to central Denver to the north, Canon City to the 
Southwest, home of the Royal Gorge, Royal Gorge Train, river rafting and a great place for a day 
trip.  In less than one hour you can also visit the Cripple Creek Mining District to the West where 
Gold Mine Tours to Gambling Casinos will keep you entertained. There is also world class fishing, 
guided fly fishing on the Arkansas River and Florissant Fossil Beds nearby.  There is even a place 
nearby where you can do the digging for your artifacts!

Vacation Rental Rates

From May to October At the Springs-Colorado Cabin Lodging is predominately rented weekly. The rate 
varies from $750-$800 plus 10.8% local and state taxes as required by law depending on special 
events and holidays.  

We do take 3 or more night bookings based on availability. CALL FOR AVAILABILITY AND RATES
for your those dates. 

From November to April, a minimum of two nights is required. Rates vary depending on holidays, 
special events and the number of nights booked. A minimum of two nights is required. During holidays 
or special events, a longer stay may be required.


A extra charge of $15.00 per night is charged for a third person. We do not recommend three people 
in the Cottage for a week due to the amount of space. (The hide a bed in the living room/kitchen has 
to be folded up daily to make adequate space to move around. However if you have a third person 
coming for one or two nights (For Example: an extra runner for the Pikes Peak Ascent or Marathon) we 
do allow the third person for a night or two.

Payment in full is due 30 days before your intended stay. We do accept Visa and Mastercharge.


At the Springs is a Smoke Free environment. We do not allow any candles, incense or smoking inside 
or outside on the premises due to Pike National Forest being directly behind the Cabin, separated 
only by some decorative landscape.  If you are on a Honeymoon or Romantic Escape, the Jacuzzi/Spa 
lighting is on a dimmer switch to set the mood. 

Check in is 4-5PM. Late arrivals can be arranged in advance. Early check ins are not possible due to 
tight cleaning and refurbishing scheduling during guests. Check out is no later than 11AM
