Vacation Rental Description

Relax on your vacation by traveling to a beautiful, serene island 
with no cars. Just two nautical miles off the southeastern coast of 
North Carolina, where the Cape Fear River meets the Atlantic Ocean,  
Bald Head Island is truly a special place.

With 10,000 of its 12,000 acres deeded to the state as a nature 
preserve, no automobiles, and carefully controlled development, it 
provides a setting unmatched for relaxation and renewal.  

The island is filled with marshes, a semi-tropical maritime forest, 
abundant wildlife, and 14 miles of beaches.  Bald Head Island has 
everything that you will need for a memorable vacation with 
restaurants, stores, museums, and a plethora of recreational 
activities.  Walk uncrowded beaches, explore the island on bicycle or
electric vehicle,  tennis, croquet, or the pool at the 
Bald Head Island Club. Or just relax on one of our decks with a 
novel while listening to surf from the nearby beach.

Our villa is well designed for a family vacation with three 
bedrooms, 2.5 baths, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances 
including a wine cooler.  Three well-oriented decks afford 
breathtaking views of the ocean, Bald Head Island Clubhouse, croquet 
greenswards, 18th green, and in the distance - Old Baldy 
Lighthouse.  We are located within a few hundred yards walking 
distance to beach access points and the amenities of the Bald Head 
Island Club.  A temporary membership to the new Shoals Club is also 
available.  One electric cart (6-person) and four 
bicycles are provided for your transportation needs.

Activities and Attractions

Bald Head Island Club Membership - Reservations in this home come 
with a temporary membership to the Bald Head Island Club. Membership 
to the club gives you access to the swimming pool, croquet 
greenswards, tennis courts, fitness center, 
volleyball, children's play area, dining room and lounge. 

Shoals Club Membership - Guests vacationing in this home may 
purchase temporary memberships to the Shoals Club. The Shoals Club 
has a gourmet restaurant, pool, children's pool, and a wooden 
boardwalk to the public access on East Beach. The club offers towel 
service at the pool as well as chairs and umbrellas for the beach. 
The 10,000 sq. ft. clubhouse has a dining room, a fitness room, 
locker rooms, and wraparound porches perfect for viewing both 
sunrises and sunsets.
