SummerSalt Cottage in Peaks Island

SummerSalt Cottage is the perfect island get-a-away, just a 20-minute ferry ride from Portland. Our cottage is
cozy, yet simple, with cottage-style furniture and decorating. Wonderful for the family or a honeymoon for
two! There are 3 bedrooms newly painted with additional sleeping on the enclosed side of the porch. Walk
out the front door and across the street to the beach. The cottage offers beautiful sunset views from the
screened-in porch and a grill on the back deck for BBQ's! Situated on a half-acre lot, perfect for croque or
badmitton. Fireplace in livingroom, hardwood floors, fully equipped kitchen. Walk the island, 5 miles around,
tennis club membership available for the months of July and August. Visit several adorable shops and dine at
any of the island's 3 wonderful restaurants (all with stunning ocean views). Come experience island life on one
of Casco Bay's lovliest islands. Great community events during the summer which include pancake breakfasts,
art shows, church fairs, and a road race. Fishing and beautiful views on the back shore!

2 bikes, croque set, TV, microwave, coffee maker, fire place, lobster pot!! Washer/dryer in half bath, towels
provided, plus beautiful quilts for those cool evenings, we ask you to provide other linens. There is a charcoal
grill and Adirondack chairs on back deck for cook-outs.

Biking, tennis, grocery store, ice cream shop, library (with movies), artist studio, museum, 3 fine restaurants,
take the 20-minute boat ride back to the mainland and visit Portland's Old Port where you may visit unique
shops and resturants that serve up some of the best chowders and lobster rolls in New England.

$1,350 a week from June 1 - September 30
Additional weeks (or week-ends) available before and after these dates for off-season rates.
