Vacation Rental Description

This is the closest house to Sombrero Beach for rent on 
VacationRentals.  You can walk to Sombrero Beach in minutes. And what 
a beach! The City of Marathon recently spent $5M renovating this 
beach, making it one of the best beaches in the Keys. Spectacular 
sunrises can be seen from your wrap-around porches. You'll be able to 
sun youself on one of the porches, or read a book in the shade. 

A large 12' X 28' heated pool has been recently installed. The pool 
deck offers shade under palm trees or you can bask under the sun in 
your Speedo. Don't worry, there's plenty of privacy, as this house 
sits on a lot that's over an acre - huge by any Keys' standard. 
Underwater dock lights have been installed in the canal out back to 
attract fish at night. You'll be mesmerized by the fish swimming in 
cirles around the light OR you can drop a line and try and catch a 
fish. Mangrove snapper, catfish, tarpon, angel fish, sting rays, and 
even nurse sharks have been caught in this canal. Fishing rods are 
provided, so go ahead, let the kids catch their first fish from the 
dock out back. The dock is equipped with electric, plumbing, fish 
cutting station, and lights for night time use. 

Meander by the mangroves in one of the two kayaks that are available 
for your use. 

We even provide high speed wireless Internet, so you can quickly do 
your emails and get back to relaxin'. Your kids will be able to 
immediately upload their Keys' vacation pics to their MySpace 
friends, and you can sneak a peak at your emails without your spouse 
catching you, as the wireless signals work inside and outside the 
house.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our house is fully furnished with everything you’d expect – towels, 
linens, microwave, toaster, etc…..and yes, there’s a blender. We also 
go the extra mile and provide the miscellaneous household products 
such as laundry detergent, dish soaps, paper towels, etc. - no need 
to hassle with these upon your arrival. Most rentals barely provide 
toilet paper. We want to go above and beyond the norm.  Central ac, 
washer and dryer, etc, etc., etc.  Color TVs in livingroom and 2 
bedrooms.  

Activities and Attractions

Sombrero Beach features picnic areas complete with grills, brand new 
shower facilities indoors and outdoors, beach volleyball, a 
landscaped grassy nature walk, and a long sandy beach with a roped-in 
swimming area, suitable for swimming and snorkeling.

Vacation Rental Rates

$2,100/week - 12/13 to 9/19
$1,800/week - 9/20 to 12/12
Holiday weeks are $2,300
Two remaining weeks in April are now REDUCED to $1,800/week
Add 11.5% to rates above for taxes
minium rental period is one week
Rent for 3 weeks and get an additional week for free!
Pool heat is an incremental $100/week.
