Newly Decorated Beachfront Poolside Condo at Summer Place in Fort Walton Beach

Welcome to your ideal vacation home -- newly decorated April of 2009! This 3 bdrm 2 bath condo is
located at the Summer Place, one of Okalossa Islands newest and
finest properties. There is nothing else like it on
the island. With 2 large pools (one heated) and just 53 units there
will never be a crowd. Families will love our 1st floor unit -- just
walk directly out to the pool or beach with no stairs or elevators
required!! Little ones can play on our large beachfront fenced patio
while their parents relax and enjoy the ocean view. Make breakfast in
our beautiful and well stocked gourmet kitchen as you watch the waves
roll in. The living area, dining area, kitchen and master bdrm all
have magnificent ocean views. We have 2 bdms with king beds and a 3rd
bdrm with 2 twins and room for an aerobed which we will supply. This
family friendly unit has a high chair, booster seat, stroller, and a
baby monitor so that you can sit in the sun and listen for your
little one during nap time. We also have puzzles, games, and a small
video library for adults and kids.

The Summer Place has a huge pool deck with 2 large pools and a
jacuzzi complete with a little waterfall. The pool area overlooks the
sugar white sand of Florida's most beautiful beaches. Because of the
zoning controls on Okalossa Island (no building over 7 stories) we
have all the beauty of the Destin beaches with none of the crowds --
to say nothing of the traffic! We provide a beach umbrella and 2
chairs as well as a cooler for snacks on the beach. The Summer Place
also has a BBQ area and a fully equipped exercise facility with a
view of the Gulf.
Our unit features 9 ft ceilings, 18" ceramic tile (carpet in
bdrms), maple cabinets with granite countertops, cultured marble tubs
and surrounds as well as marble vanity tops. We have a large laundry
room with side by side washer/dryer. Each bdrm has a tv/vcr or tv/dvd
and the living room has a 32" tv with vcr and dvd. A local artist
made certain the kids' room would be a favorite with playful
dolphins, fish and seahorses swimming on the blue walls. We hope
you'll want to come back again and again.

The Florida Gulfarium with dolphins, seals, sea lions, otters, sharks
and more is 3-5 minutes away. We have putt putt golf,
great restaurants, a waterside playground and a small movie theatre
all within 5-7 minutes. Rent a movie at Blockbuster or pick up groceries at Publix, both just over
the bridge (a 5
min drive or less). From the condo you can
walk to the new Emerald Coast Convention Center and to several
restaurants. Destin is 6 miles away with great shopping, deep sea
fishing, etc...Our kids love the Gulf Breeze Zoo (about 25 mins away)
where you can actually feed a giraffe!!
